I was just thinking about taking mine off. I am tired of getting the back of my pants dirty when I get out.

Sounds like you're looking for an old man truck. Try a Ford.

I found one with running boards, my old sore hips need that, heated steering wheel too. Only drawback the truck is black, but I can turn my phone on and get into a heated or cooled truck. Beauty of it I do not pay for the truck, gas insurance, oil changes, car washes. But I earn it with Sunday morning flights and Friday night returns.

Especially when there have been signs stating left lane closures ahead, reduces to one lane in 5 miles, 3 miles, half mile etc. and all the reasonable people start merging to the right to eventually be in the right lane. Then the "I'm better than you's" start flying down the empty left lanes before trying to merge over.

Just a warning, if you are in front of me and such happens, I will lightly tap your rear bumper with mine and push you along if you even think about letting one of them cut in.

Second only to those who cannot get up to highway speeds on on ramps before merging onto the highway.

Few things satisfy me as much as pissing off someone who thought they were cutting in front of me after pulling that crap. I don’t buy houses on wheels I’ll let you merge right into me asshat.

After the first or second one passes I’ll move out of the proper lane and into the merge over lane to block the wannabe passers. Just stay at the same position in line and once you get close to the merge point put on your turn signal and the car that was behind you will almost always let you back in (and usually give you a thumbs up or a wave in the process) since it’s obvious you were playing defense.

Man y’all, we need an anti-rant thread. just finished a movie called End of Watch and it is damn near the best movie I ever did see. Wish i’dve started it earlier so it wasn’t too late to watch it again for an encore.

Fun fact, the fuel pump mounted inside the top of the fuel tank on that as well.
