The sense of entitlement, instant gratification, and me, me, me is fantastic these days isn't it?
It has never even occurred to me to try to intrude on other people's table at a busy restaurant if some of the seats aren't being used. Who the hell would want to sit down with other folks they don't know anyway...you might end up with an a-hole who's wife doesn't tell him when he's being jerky.

Took the day off yesterday to stay home with my son who had the flu while my wife worked her one day per week job. Come back to work to find that the newest version of windows had been installed on the work computer. Microsoft really screwed up on this version. Looks like I will be spending most of my morning trying to relocate all the reports I have to check on a daily basis. I have this version of windows on the lap top at home. Which I have not touched since finishing my master's degree last year solely because this new windows version sucks. I would rather be home with my kid that has the flu.

My client just moved my client laptop to win 10 also...since Microsoft support for win7 has generally lapsed.

I've been running win10 for 5 years at home. My company machine has been running win10 for about 4± years.

Someones dog keeps crapping on my walk path, I find it when I step in it, or when my son steps in it. I am over the poop issue. My house cameras do not pick them up, so trail cam it is. Quite frankly, I'm not one to kill a dog, but this has gone on for over 2 years and after several warnings about keeping dogs in your own damn yard, I'm almost to that point.

You should start scooping it up with a shovel and put it in his mailbox with a note saying you are returning it to its owner.

I have the same issue with one of my neighbors. Unfortunately, this dog likes to crap all around my archery target. Despite multiple conversations, the owner continually lets the dog out to do its business unsupervised. I told my wife that I thinking about popping the dog in the butt with my BB pistol. Not strong enough to hurt the dog, just give it a good surprise and hopefully smarten it up since the owner is clueless.

It's very European.. I have noticed more restaurants going to this style of seating and I can see why. I had to get used to it when I lived in Munich but I did meet a lot of nice folks that way. Nowadays a restaurant has to pack them in where they can to turn a profit so I do foresee more bench style seating in the future. But on the other hand, we ate at a place with seating like this not to long ago and had to sit next to some hipster "foodies". The guy was totally full of misinformation regarding culinary arts, had one of those stupid waxed up mustaches and some dumb bowler hat, very punchable.

Yeah well I am in Florida and they were not european, and probably one of the main reasons I will never go on a cruise ever again.

Way it was when I lived in France for year. Like you took little to get used to but eventually didn't matter much. If there was open sests at table they'd flop down.

So cold windy day so the wife and decided to go see a movie. Granted it has been a while since I have gone to a movie theatre but damn. We go to a movie at 1:30 in the afternoon and it cost us $21. That is why nobody is going to movies anymore.
