I have a Ruger #1 rifle in 22-250, I hand load but only bc when you do find it you'll pay about $1.35 a round, performance rounds that is, and when I load it myself I'm at around $.67 a round with more consistent performance. Currently I'm loading a 80gr Sierra MatchKing in Lupua brass and it's a smooth shooter.

I'll second that. I've had a lot of luck buying .45 and .308 in bulk from Lucky Gunner.

I have been cutting my own hair for years and about once very few years I mess up ... Well today I guess I was due. Ended up having to shave it to buzz and shave my beard to match so I didn't look even worse. Wifey is not going to be happy about this one

What is the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one? About 2 weeks.

I'm leaning more and more into getting some reloading stuff. Have absolutely no idea how to do any of it but know some ppl that do. Did end up finding some in another town so bought 4 boxes. Think is was 14 and some change for box of 20, just cheap ppu ammo. I've got a savage model 11. It's nothing real special but it shoots really good. Can group 3-5 shots of the vmax stuff from hornaday in quarter size group at 100 yards. Stuff just got shoots out of it decent too and is alot cheaper than the hunting stuff.

We were at range other day tho messing around with .22's, so now I'm looking into picking one of them up. Them things are alot of fun and have been wanting to pick something up but just never did.

22-250 is a fun caliber. If you know your barrel twist you can really dial in the hand loads.

And yeah, I have a 10/22 I shoot more than any other gun I own. The best money I've spent was on a bunch of those little metal plinking targets. My nieces can shoot all day and lunch costs more than the ammo, that's a good day.

I also really like a 22-250. I have a Remmington 700 Varmiter, it is a factory gun they offered in a stainless fluted barrel with an H.S. Precision stock. It is my favorite caliber for coyotes.
Ever try the Winchester 4000 fps 45 grain HP's that come in a 40 round white box? Those things are crazy volatile if you get a hold of a ground squirrel with one. Not fur friendly on a yote either if you hit it in the front shoulder.

Pretty sure you can't buy (have shipped) ammo online in IL anymore.
    Thanks, Gov. Fatass

Coyotes is pretty much what use mine for. I won a box of Winchester something at local range meeting and it was pretty hot load. Came in black box from what I remember. Took my sister and brother in law shooting and we threw that on there and let sister shoot. She was done afterwards. Wasn't so much recoil but it sounded like a cannon echoing in the shooting bays at range. It is a fun little gun tho.

I just saw a 700 prc, I think, precision rifle they came out with with on a chassis and magpul stock. That thing lookes pretty sweet but its loke 1200 ha.

Quick search that's only true in Chicago, People's Republic of. Although I know a lot of big-name online 2A-type retailers won't ship anything to Cook County.

I know it was on the legislative agenda last term, but they must not have voted on it. Not that they can legally prohibit that because it interferes with interstate commerce; but Constitutionality ain't nothing but a speedbump in Illinois.

Yeah, FOID and State issued ID/DL is required by law. Cook County and possibly some neighboring counties of are about impossible for anything to be shipped to even when legal.

I've used Palmetto and Bulk Ammo a bunch in the past. Bulk ammo doesn't have much either.

Well, when states are handing out easily faked IDs to illegals left and right; there's gotta be some standard.

Partizan makes damn fine ammo. MOA groups w/my .44mag carbine.

And I can tell you for a fact GrabAgun won't sell high capacity mags to counties in IL that border Cook Co; even when legal.

    Sort of.
A PP will allow you to travel via commercial air. But now that all states are required by Fed gov to adhere to Real ID standards; and states require you to have a DL to legally* drive, then if you want to legally drive then you need to have a Real ID.

*Unless you're an illegal alien. They get a free pass to drive in a lot of states
