That's what happened to me. The PC politics and major stupidity got to be too much for me to handle so I retired and moved to my place up North.

Example: I was the foreman of an electrical installation crew. My project was to install an 800 amp and a 600 amp 480v panels in order to run three 200 hp air compressors inside a fenced enclosure. This included an exhaust vent to vent the heat generated by these motors. When I got the exhaust vent ready to install I noticed that it's cfm rating was too small to handle what the compressors put out. I brought it to the attention of the engineer and was told... "It will be OK. It will be nice in the winter but suck in the summer. Install it anyway". So I did, then I retired.

By the end of July a coworker of mine called me and told me the engineer was called on the carpet because it got so hot in there it was setting off all of the overhead sprinklers!

I know for a fact, had I still been there the engineer would have thrown me under the bus and blamed me for the problem. What a tool.

Part of my job is working with engineers to get our equipment specified by the consultants when the bid is put out. It never ceases to amaze me, our applications staff work on projects from coast to coast and 28 countries and once in a while there is an engineer that is so incredibly wrong but insists that they know how it needs to be done.

Got up early and went for a walk around the hotel parking lot with my cup of coffee. You know you are in California when in the back lot they have a designated bike parking area. Who the hell is riding a bike to a hotel, but I bet they feel better thinking they are facilitating people who are forward thinking enough to bike to their lodging.

Yeah I know it was rhetorical... But

Employees that can't afford a car, because housing prices in Ca are rediculous.

Some hotels, usually resorts, have a bike lending deal. At least we do in the South, y'all.

Whoever received that email should buy the senders copies of Dave Ramsey, with a heartfelt handwritten "eat a bowl of ****s" on the inside cover.

My niece wants me to take her to a Luke Combs concert. So I give him a listen. I understand why my 8 year old niece wants to go now, she could have written those basic pandering lyrics. Wtf!? I mean to tell you, country music has gone to chit. I'm taking her but we are listening to Boxcar Willy, Guy Clark and Hank William's Sr. The whole way there and back. And for the record, her dad is a country singer and on tour but he must be having some issues bc I saw a pic of him in a fedora hat the other day, man card revocation issued.
