Wth, didn't the red flags go off when they mentioned using a house artisianal asbestos blend brake pad, cave aged brake fluid, and a guy named Luigi that they flew in especially for your repair?
To be fair, the majority of vegetation that grows in Australia is along the coast. The rest of the place is nothing but red rocks and things that will kill you.
Well we have snow predicted here in Oklahoma.. it will be 67° today, the bottom falls out Friday night with snow and ice predicted overnight. No big deal, right? Oh hell no, pandemonium! The news says 3", the reality is a dusting blowing sideways directly into the ditch. I hope I'm wrong and we get 6", more than an inch completely shuts the State down.
First trip of the year and it has everything that grinds my gears. 1 flight time out 10:30 am I live north of the twin cities, the airport is on the south side. I get to do the morning rush hour up the gut of traffic hell. 2 I am flying to Providence but not before stopping in Detroit for an hour and 45 minutes. Not sure what bugs me more a non direct flight or the Detroit airport. 3 I fly into Providence but my meeting is in Bourne MA. 57 miles away that will take 2 + hours each way. 3 going home again stopping by Detroit and landing in Minneapolis at 4:00 just in time to once again reverse course thru the Minneapolis rush hour.
A half corn-cob on a 23/0 Mustad hook works great for catching deer. They’re pretty line shy so you gotta make sure to brush in your leader real well. If they’re not hitting corn then sometimes I’ll switch to an apple or a persimmon. Might also want to collect some acorns ahead of time to use as chum.
See if you can swing heated AND cooled seats. Heated seats are great, but you haven’t lived until you’ve had air-conditioning applied directly to your ass on hot day. I realize Minnesota doesn’t get as hot as NC, but yall still have a couple months every year where it gets into the 90’s. Sometimes I’ll even use them in the winter once the car warms up - a little airflow in the nether-regions is always a good thing.
Shop and judging by my wife's lack of cooking skills, home economics as well.. When I look back at my time in Junior High, I cannot do it without thinking about how many times my shop teacher straightened me out or taught me something that was useful on a daily basis, unlike ******* algebra. He was like Red Foreman without the filter. Cant believe kids dont get that experience these days. Of course, my shop teacher also made you do stuff like sand the paddle that he was about to give you swats with in order to make sure the "smack" was good and crisp..
Ever have one of those days? My wife goes home for lunch every day, she gets home and says it is cold in the house and the stove fan is not running, corn is burning but the flame is very small. I am running all the causes thru my head, cursing myself for not getting around to ordering a spare thermocouple. Sitting at a stop light the cause dawned on me. I neglected to fill the stove hopper with corn before I left home
Hill country...that is with a 15.00 car wash EVERY time I drive the car. Problem is car wash is 10 miles away in nearst town.
I thought Minnesota was bad. My wife works at a school a mile and a half from our house. Her last pick up was so rusted in just 5 years, they salt the crap out of every street and road around the school.
Funny thing.. Other than the roof having the paint "sprayed off" by car wash the dang thing looks good for an old car. Washed it yesterday..now only the driver door opens. All others frozen shut..LOL
