Yes, their lunches are not great. Breakfast, coffee, and donuts are the strengths. A coffee and donut shop is what it started out as. That is all I go for.
The one in St. Cloud? I drove past it many times but never tried it. That TCF Bank that the Tim Hortons sat next to was revolting.
The damn e-mail notifications for dr and dentist appointments. I know I have a dentist appointment today and a Doctor appointment Friday I was the one that made the damn appointment I do not need 3 conformations and 3 reminders for each.
I don't do St. Cloud my daughter lives near Rice, she will drive to Brainard to grocery shop before she will go to St. Cloud.
This is and always has been an Oilfield service in Oklahoma. They pushed for a lower Gross Production Tax (2%, the lowest in the nation) for sustainability and they ability to weather lower barrel prices, it's still the same song and dance when the barrel price drops and they lay off 1000 people. They claimed that the previous Presidential Administration had over-regulated the jobs out of the oilfield and when Commander Marmalade rolled back all those regulations and it was drill baby drill everything was great and gave credit to that administration for job creation. So they went out and drilled like crazy, made a lot of money and then ditched the workers that made it all possible. I don't know what I'm missing here? Maybe I just hate people being put out of a job before Christmas by a company reporting record profits. I used to work for KBR a former subsidiary of Haliburton and know a lot of folks that have been laid off, forced into early retirement or fired and offered the same position back at lower pay. I mean, if you want to defend a heartless entity, go right ahead. Myself, given my background, refuse to sugar coat it and am calling it out for what it is, profit before people.
The employment bump was due to more drilling once the well goes into production the drill crew is no longer need. Oil field employment has always ebbed and flowed no mater who the president is. Blaming Trump for completed wells is BS.
Never blamed him for completed wells. And yes, the oilfield will always ebb and flow and that's why we should have a 12% GPT, the national average that doesn't shortchange the State. This story is as old as the oilfield itself.
There's places here that won't keep your appointment if you don't respond back to them stupid things. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Spent 3-1/2 hours in a dentist chair today, the dentist asked me how it feels, well it feels like I got 2 teeth knocked out, then my jaw got rooted around in and 2 teeth were jammed back in and for good measure it feels like I got punched in the corner of my nose and upper jaw.
So everything's good then, right? My hygentist called and left a message she will be out next week and wanted me to resched. I called the Dr office to resched, they said they were going to have some one fill in... Wth?
I'm not defending profiteering; I'm simply asking what deregulation has to do with their job loss. I also hate to see good people out of work especially this time of year. It seems to me they likely wouldn't have had their jobs in the first place had the boom not started -after- Agent Orange deregulated the industry. I promise another term under the "ban fossil fuel" party would've crushed that industry. So put the blame on the profiteers; not the Deregulator in Chief.
They replaced both teeth on the right side, hell I am not even taking advil, I have been punched harder, pain is weakness leaving your body.
If you think the dental work is painful, just wait until the bill comes in and you've gotta pay for it, thats when the real pain starts.
Hahaha... Some of the things I did when I was 16 include: - Caught my basement on fire while building a potato cannon (purple pvc primer is highly flammable) - totaled a golf cart attempting to beat my own 100 yd side-wheelie record - convinced a friend (also 16) to collect a bunch of dog turds and place them inside a steam heating radiator in the main hall of our high school - filled a car muffler with 12 ga shotgun shells (dude was an ******* and had it coming) I was top 5 in my class all through high school so on paper I was one of the 16 year olds who was most qualified to vote, but clearly I wasn't responsible enough for that...... actually in hindsight, I probably shouldn't have been allowed to vote until around 21-22, but certainly not 16 or 17.
