Edie Van Halen saying that the metal guitar picks he kept in his mouth caused his cancer, wasn't the 2-3 packs a day combined with plenty of Jack Daniels that got him.
Come to find out that the guy who shot the big double mainbeam buck I was chasing, which i know it not "my" deer, made a horrible shot on it and got intestines, he never recovered it. I know bad shots happen but this seems to be a habit of this particular hunter, 3 years in a row bad. He has wounded and lost deer to the point that he jokes about it. A few thoughts have crossed my mind about this, throat punch being the first but in wanting to be a good person I thought maybe coaching this guy through his maybe target panic or a good stern lecture on ethics of a shot. I have a feeling it's the latter but without having heard the full story and hearing about it second hand through the neighbor who is even more pissed than I am, I'm thinking about just contacting the landowner and leasing the place he hunts out from under him and his buddy. Like just offer the landowner twice what these two chucklheads are paying and be done with it.
Contest at work and this MF'er says his secret ingredient is corn. Then says midwesterners are weird, for not agreeing. I'm calculating costs to send his ass to the southwest or Mexico.
More Beans, More Meat, Less Water, Remove Corn... Oh, and there is a beer bottle cap in the stove burner (could be related to the decision to add corn?).
I love Oklahoma where the biggest argument when it comes to chili is beans vs no beans. Some chili cookoffs will disqualify you for adding beans..
