Has nothing to do with what state I currently inhabit. I worked for the Meijer company for several years. They were by and large a great company to work for; and as a kid fresh out of high school in the mid 90s I went from making minimum wage ($6.75 IIRC) to $14+ in less than 3 years- all while working part time. They took care of their employees, promoted heavily from within, paid for education in certain circumstances, and offered a ton of opportunities to grow with the company. This was during a period of massive expansion for the company as they expanded from MI to IN, OH, KY, and IL. The Meijers were and to my knowledge still are good corporate people and donated a ton of money to conservation causes. I met Mr. Meijer (Fred) a couple times and he was always very gracious to us peons. They will always get my money before Walmart. I know next to nothing about Peter Meijer other than he is running for congress as a Republican; but this is a hideous, even Satanic lawsuit and I can only conclude the only purpose is to smear him in a tough three way race against that quisling hack Justin Amash (I) and whatever nutjob Dem is in the race. That being said, that rant wasn't intended to be political in unto itself- it was to highlight how disgustingly evil society is becoming. Anyone who thinks it's entertaining to exploit a mentally retarded person or does anything to support this charade deserves to rot in hell. It takes a special kind of a-hole to get to me say that. ...apologies for the language to Pastor Dan and any chilluns on here. There's just literally nothing worse than someone who sexualizes or otherwise takes advantage of children or those with the mental capacity thereof...except those who profit from that exploitation.
People that get a rescue dog from a far away state, you probably drove by 100's of rescue dogs to get that dog. Not to mention the unnessarary fossil fuel usage that is causing climate change.

Reminds me of a refreshing bit of karma I got to see last week. There is a younger girl in town that has some kind of canary yellow Toyota or something that has a matching giant spoiler on the back. Very unique and easy to spot. About 8 months ago I was driving home from picking up my kid at daycare and going through a 20 mph school zone. I mostly do at least 5 over, but in school zones I do the posted limit for obvious reasons. This stupid yellow car was behind me and rode my ass all the way through it. I got pissed and whipped over to the curb to let her by, I can't stand being tailgated when I'm doing the speed limit or over. I fly her the bird and she flies it back. For the next several months ever time I saw that car she was tailgating the car in front of her. Last week I'm heading home from work and what do I see? The yellow car ***** pulled over on the side of the road with an Escalade parked in front of her. The Escalade has rear end damage and the yellow car has front end damage. I smiled the rest of the way home.
I would have to sign up for Facebook and then wade through all her "living my truth inspirational quotes" and she is hot but not worth that kind of headache..
The wife and I drove 5 hours to Indiana to get the dog in my avatars. I liked the way he looked with the black face and all. He is a Black Mouth Cur. Old Yeller was written about a BMC. They are rare around here. Anyway, most intelligent and best dog I ever had. Glad I went and got him. Btw, I have a 600 horsepower Chevelle that gets about 8 mpg. I plan on burning up as much fossil fuel as possible before I go.
