I am glad that my wife had a good trip and that she comes back today. Not thrilled that I have to pick her up at the airport at 11:30 pm, if, the flight is on time. I was hoping that I might be able to lay down and sleep for an hour or so before picking her since it will probably be 1 am before I go to sleep, but, the MIL is watching our boys so I don't have to get them up to go to the airport. But, instead of coming over at 10:45 pm, which would be plenty of time for me to get to the airport, she seems to think she needs to be there at 9 pm.

I just started making coffee @ home after years upon years of Dunkin Donut drivethru in the A.M. I bought a few different bags. I’m liking the McDonalds bag of coffee believe it or not. Please tell me how $15 minimum wage is gona help anything and y the bleep were shooting for it. It’s asinine. Ive tryed hiring guys all summer and paid well above minimum wage and they still dnt help them. Because in many instances minimum wage increases are linked in to Union wages. So if you lobby to raise one under the ruse of living wage it will also raise Union wages on the state level and others.
Which gets baked in to costs of goods and services or companies figure a way to reduce costs (e.g. automate/eliminate/out source/etc)...
Last night I could feel a nasty headache coming on...drank a lot of water and it went away. Today, the headaches started back and I knew what it was right away...hell ragweed pollen has started up. Sure enough I checked and our area just started to get lower levels of ragweed pollen. The next couple of weeks will be hell. CVS here I come.

McDs actually does have good coffee. Better quality control than D/D too. Altho D/D bagged coffee is fine; just the shops by and large suck. Gevalia is good stuff. Not sure if it's found outside the Chicago area, but Papa Nicholas is very good as well. Again, my favorite mass market coffee under $8/lb is Folger's 1850 Trailblazer which I can usually find for $5/lb. Once I discovered that I went from 1 pot per day to 2. It tastes very similar (but slightly more bold) to Cafe du Monde which is about $3.25 more per pound.
All this coffee talk.. I am a coffee lovin' fool, lifeblood, ect.. So I buy this at Whole Foods and before you go getting your knickers in a wad, it's less expensive than most everything out there and tastes twice as good. I've been through everything from folgers, kona, jamaican blue mountain, black rifle, locally roasted and the list goes on. I mean, I really like coffee. Now that Amazon bought whole foods i just have it delivered, except in the summertime and that's only due this yoga pants craze and the fact that Whole Foods seems to be some sorta Mecca for them. I'm married not dead or blind. and yes, I realize the product in the pic says ground but I buy whole beans.

I cant take Benadryl, I have a reaction to it that is equal to a blackout drunk and it brings out my alter ego Burford and he is no pleasant fella.
Im not a huge fan of it myself, but it is all I have until tomorrow. Most meds don't really effect me and sleeping. Something is wrong with my chemistry and it ain't normal. Ha
