For the record I did not say the vikings suck, Jake. I am trying a gentler approach this year, well for now.
I sheeit you not....Kirkland's [Costco] store brand coffee beats the pants off Folgers or Maxwell House, etc...and it's affordable.
Damn it going to look at a place tomorrow 50 minutes from the office and 21 miles from my daughters place, on a lake with walleye. Wife quits her job and she does daycare for my grandson, no pressure to like the place.
Blacking out preseason NFL games. Like a stadium is going to sell out preseason games. I didn't even want to watch the Browns game, but it is still ongoing so NFL total access is blacked out as well. It's the freaking pre season, good grief.
Trying to learn to play guitar, I bought a classic Les Paul a few month back. HTF are your fingers supposed to fit on some of these chords without killing the other strings. Why did they make the fret boards so narrow. Grrrr how frustrating.
Rule 1 in learning the guitar, learn the guitar before before doing mechanic/DIY things. My brother played the guitar and I would try to play, but mostly untuned it. I did get Mary had a Little Lamb down pat and Jingle Bells, but I can also play those on a tone dial phone Good luck
Responding to a post on a hunting forum is being bored? You must be bored as well. My comment was about my experience nearly 30 years ago
Just something I always wanted to learn and never did. Figured at 43 I'd better jump on it while my fingers are still fairly nimble.

No tiny house for me, nothing big but not tiny. Lake lot has to be flat, no stairs or steps to get to the dock, and the wife wants a beach.

Ah, there's the rub. If the frets weren't that close together, you couldn't even reach them for the chords required in many instances. Practice moving your thumb more to the middle of the neck so the thick part of your fingers are more upright when in a chord position, whether you're arpeggiating or not. Don't give up; it's a fantastic hobby, albeit frustrating at times. I'm no maestro but it's something I enjoy a great deal.
