Work passwords. At least 8 to 10 of them. One day I hope to have 0. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Is this a legit post? Sarcasm isn't going well today. Asked on Facebook if Muller testified as scheduled or not? Havn't hear anything about it. My mom amd an old friend replied yes, then the friend started sending me links through messenger to the testimony
It was legit... I think it was 2.21 per transaction saved, in the late 1990s. We even incented customers by giving them a quarter to deposit at the ATM instead of the branches which reduced wait times for those Friday paycheck deposits with cash back (probably for beer money)...the feeling you where to go, well that was just snarky. I can regale you with all sorts of great data nerdiness and banking geekisms...damn I hope the season gets here soon!
In 1991 you still had the envelopes where deposits would take days to be picked up. I'm talking the new ATM's with readers for both cash and checks. Yet there are still 3 drive through lanes and a business lane open during banking hours. Only thing removed from then until now is the window/wall side tellers. IMO, it's getting to a few posts back about the gas pumps. Used to be gas stations didn't make money on gas sales, it was the merchandise sold inside. Soda, candy, cigarettes, donuts, deez nuts, beer, and way inflated household goods and grocery. Now every single pump has a pay at pump credit/debit option. Why install those if in store purchases are needed to survive? My take is gas has always been profitable at retail levels, but grocer/retail items was where it is at. Fountain soda, be it gas station or restaraunt is the biggest money maker of all for those establishments.
Around 2004 was the advent of 'paper truncation' and the switch to images (Check 21). At that time most item processing scaled back or shut down... But your check deposit in a branch was an overnight (batch) posting proves with some banks adding holds depending on the distance (fed region and other details from the routing (aba) code. Banks made $ on the float. Atms were serviced by the branches, or outsourced (Loomis, Brinks, etc). The pumps are Pinless Point of sale. Merchants use to get a cut (~65bps at one time, less now I think) of the 200bps haircut for card transactions. Gas stations also hit you for a $100 to $300 hold on your card, till the transaction flows to the issuer bank. Thin margins for merchants. The order at the pump (food stores in the station) bring you in the store...bank hosted Atms (leased space in the stores + ad Revenue) are just gravy to the stores. The banks also sell the card systems or deals to chains for more bank Rev... Why put the pay at the pump devices? So you can get rid of the $15/hr person inside...they are cost along with the building cost. The rest will become giant vending machines...
So how involved wasRobert Mueller in his own investigation? Or his own report? So glad to see my taxpayer dollars being well spent by “a man above reproach” so glad to see the American justice system at work. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
And they are only good for 30 days, must be 8 characters, must include a capital letter and at least one number or symbol and you can NEVER reuse that password. Seriously, I have a customer with that exact requirement. After 14 years, their folder is covered with old passwords.
Going way back to this, but Mike Rowe states it well. https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/mike-rowe-national-hire-veteran-day
Ugh tell me about it, at work luckily they adopted a 15 character password that doesnt require resetting unless a breach happens.
Just implemented the same here only 16 characters. They claim it will never have to be reset unless there's an issue but i'll believe it when I see it.
Will the left turn on RBG now? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gi...gorsuch-as-very-decent-very-smart-individuals "Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Wednesday night defended Associate Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch as "very decent" and "very smart" individuals after one of her former law clerks suggested that new nominees lack personal decency."
Either that, or you didn't work hard enough throughout your life. Which, from I can tell interacting with you on this forum, isn't the issue. So, yeah, maybe you have a valid rant about getting old. On the plus side, you should be getting close to considering retirement yourself.
