That's where I made my money. Was the alignment tech. I got ford explorers down to 3 hours both uppers and lowers and alignment. Books called for 6 hours labor. Anymore you have to pull the top end of the motor off to change the internal starter

Power outages! 3.5 days without power....it sucks. Lost power at 10:15 PM on Friday. Don't see a power company truck until Sunday morning when one parks by the tree that took the lines down. Guy says he will be there until relieved or a line truck arrives. 9:30 PM truck is still there. Monday morning, no power and no truck at downed line. WTF!!!!!! They sent someone out to collect double time and that person was not capable of doing a thing to resolve the outage. The guy in the truck is not to blame. He took the ire of the neighborhood for as long as he was there. My/our beef is with management. Power finally on at 5 AM yesterday. Then I have a problem with the pump/switches in the mound system. Spent the afternoon replacing float switches and slowly pumping the tank as to not flood the mound. It was a crappy job but one that I could do without calling a plumber. For any of you who are out on the line crews-especially during storm duty, THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO FOR US!
WPS Wisconsin Public Service Forgot to mention that they sent me an update by text on Monday evening stating blah blah blah, Cause: not yet determined. I blew a gasket! Texted back "Lie! You had a guy sitting in a truck at the downed line all day Sunday sucking up double time and doing absolutely nothing to resolve the outage" I doubt a human saw that text.

Those piss me off, 5:30 in the morning and thing clicks on full blast with volume. Having Sota's problem would infuriate me even more. Card is locked in machine until ad is over, then you can either cancel and walk away of just get the money. Went to a bank awhile back to make a deopsit at the ATM as it is close to my work. 5 cars in line and no one at the drive up lanes, I go to the drive up lane, say to deposit the check into my account. Get the receipt back and the teller had boldly circled "For your convenience deposits can now be made at most ATM's". I wanted to ask her what her job description was, but held back.
Yeah I'm that guy. We did a project 20 years ago and learned we could save a cost of 2 dollars and cents per transaction to tell you where to go... (to the ATM)
We haven't gotten high tech enough for those kind of atm's yet. Maybe in town (Quincy) but all the small town atm's are still kinda old school. I'm terrible about having cash on me but I usually just walk into the bank and take money out. They all pretty much know who ya are and what ya want so when I walk in they usually have it waiting when they see ya pull up and I just grab it and go. Can't even remember last time filled out deposit slip and if haveta leave it in drop box only need to put name on envelope and it's taken care of.
