at least they let you off...the other day at DC Reagan, I had to sit in a plane on the tarmac 45 minutes with little/no AC. 90* outside, definitely 100+ inside. We ended up soaked with sweat, and they didn't give us any chance for refreshments.

I had a great week, left home sunday morning, went to Lake of the Ozarks, got done at that conference then headed to Lake Charles LA for another conference, due to weather I got home at 1 this morning. I have 2 days at home and a 8:30 flight Sunday morning, looking forward to leaving the house for work at 5:30. Business travel is so glamorous.
Well said. Term limits would perhaps keep them grounded. I remember Cory Booker shouting at someone who was speaking in front of some committee a year or so ago. Really rubbed me the wrong way. Senators are all powerful, essentially, and untouchable. Shouting at the guy like he was a child was unnecessary.

Just once I wish I could be sitting in front of them, just once. I had to testify in front of a grand jury,bye the way,very hard to hide from a subpoena. One of the jurors asked me a ,well less than intelligent question. Then got snippy at my reply. Well it took me just 30 seconds to school that entire room. Nothing worse than a little mind that thinks it has big power.

That is the only product that fully works. I'm not allowed to be outdoors near my family in summer.. It's ma go in there wasn't a deer fly, blk fly, skeeter or horse fly around until you came out. I can't blame them..lol Yesterday it looked like a popcorn machine with the deer fly bouncing off the rim of my straw hat.
So did y'all know that there is an difference in 193rd st and 193rd circle!? My roofing crew didn't this morning, which means I just bought someone a $18k roof! Happy happy joy! Fml
Edit to add, he is the roofing company Since he posted about it I'm guessing he got it all sorted out, but that could have been disastrous. Unsuspecting home owner could have said no, I want my original roof as it was. Then you are tearing off a brand new roof to put on another brand new roof that matches their old. Set aside the contract signed with the real customer who's roof did not start when stated. Only positive I can see out of it, if you can call it that, is he has said he donates a few roofs to Habitat for Humanity every year, might have to knock one or two off this year to recoup the difference.
