Ha I've only been into the one when both gas stations were out of chew I buy. In the past couple years dollar generals and Casey's have basically popped up in every town around here.

Live from the stand. Major hog action everywhere. Bumped up a solid 200 pound sow with about 8-10 shoates in the 15 pound range.

Hung a milk bottle of fermenting corn, poked a couple holes and it’s like a Doe P drip. Lol

Thunder boomers are abounding all around. Fingers crossed .

What kind of communist power company do you have? If it was their incoming service, they should have located and fixed the fault on their dime!

Been dealing with this place for nearly 30 years. If they dont have if, it will usually be in the next day if i order by 10 am. They priced matched just about anyone and i never paid shipping.

They have an AWESOME mechanic who is not afraid to share knowledge. And gives a discount if he cant meet his promise date.

My heat exchanger ran anywhere from 1050 to 1300 bucks for the oem version. Flat out told me to go to xxxx and they will be half price.

Gonna miss the people there. I bought lots of fishing gear there too. Got many fishing reports-where, depth and what they were hitting on. Tackle guy tells me one day they slayed the brown trout that morning. Cause someone was trying to listen in, he only said "old school" in blue or white. All i needed to know. Took the wife and her sister out that afternoon and we had a 3 person limit in just over 2 hours.

    Gonna really miss that place.

    Most power companies own
    To the meter
Wire /equipment before meter is their responsibility to maintain and repair
    After meter it’s the consumers

If meters on House the power company is responsible to there
If meters away from house consumer is for lines from the meter to house

    Wow
Most company’s own and maintain lines
    TO the meter
Most companies do not want public trimming near power lines owned by the utility .
In certain situations it could be primary voltage and I am confident the power company does not want the public trimming trees near primary
Anything from meter to house is consumer responsibility

Glad you found it. Sounds like he was a platoon commander of marines. Semper Fi. Do you know with whom he served? And where? I find this stuff fascinating.

You are talking about lines owned by the power company ?
Not your personal line on customer side
    Of meter

I see he wrote something about being in I Corps I as a company commander around 1969-1970. Not sure what that means.

He is the toughest SOB I know. Struggles with a lot of ptsd and depression over Vietnam but he is always there when you need him. Always. Poor guy was also on the side of the Pentagon that was hit on 9/11. Struggles with that too as he relived a lot of trauma....but he is tough as crap

Glad i dont live by you. That is sooo messed up. We had a 3 day outage after a storm a couple years ago. Power company had there trimers out for months aggressively trimming back the right of ways. Last year they started replacing the poles originally put in by the REA back in the 1930s.

Yes , down our drive way from the pole to the meter is around 60 ft. When they have been here I've actually requested they cut limbs that were starting to grow out over the lines. Now the trees are on the other side of drive. So the length of limb make them weak. We get heavy wet snows making them a problem. I can't cut them because they'd drop on the lines. They could see it clearly. Told me with out it being the right of way no. Even after we gave them the right to put a pole on our property as an anchor pole to the nieghbor down the hill so his lines wouldn't sag.
