I have the all access package, and don't mind the price of it since I don't pay for subscriber TV and like a lot of the extra features that come with it. With streaming apps, you're SoL if you're out in the middle of nowhere and can't get data. XM is built into the car, and I can listen without chewing up my data plan on the phone as I only stream when I'm on a WiFI or hardwired network. Also, there's content on XM that you can't get on Pandora or other apps. There's been some really good interviews, concerts, etc that can pull up on demand.
https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/...rs-because-customer-did-not-feel-safe-reports This kind of stuff makes my blood boil. Police officers asked to leave because some miserable puke felt uncomfortable? The culture of treating Officers and other public servants like trash needs to stop. My bar and grill property has a service disconnect station with 4 200 amp disconnects. 2 for the bar and 2 for out buildings on each side of the bar. I bought the place a little over 3 years ago and will be replacing another feed. That will make it 3 out of 4 feeds needing to be replaced. I am not a fan of direct burial cable. When I replace it, it will be in conduit. A nick or scrape in the insulation doesn't fare well in the sandy, acidic soil we have around here. I am keeping my fingers crossed about the 4th feed. That said, I am an electrician and own a backhoe but the cost of the wire and pipe can run as high as $500. Sh*!@$ I have funner things to do!
I'm binge watching Vietnam docu-series. Highly recommend it. Heartfelt thanks and hugs for any Vietnam vets who might read this. Neil Sheehan, a journalist who covered the war in the bush with the fighting men said the greatest generation wasn't any braver than the men who fought in Vietnam. I'm inclined to agree. No disrespect to WW2's generation but Vietnam vets don't get enough respect.
I binge watched the Twins last night, rain delay and then a ton of runs scored. July and I am sitting in the GD recliner with a blanket on me. I have to mow the 5 acres of lawn today I have to get it done. Miserable.
Made a lucky find in my move last summer. Found a large laminated map of parts of Vietnam with my Dads name and rank (Lt) on it...and said "Ground Pounder". Map he used in Vietnam as a fresh out of OCS Lieutenant out of Quantico. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I have a lot of wire buried. Power to the house and then mine out to the barn, well and septic. Each line has a splice in it from when we tore the original house down and put up this one. No problems for 20 years. This one did not corrode at the splice. It was about a foot away. Power company figured a shovel nick coupled with a lightning strike we had close by about 12 years ago. That never bothered electric service at the time but did take out my phones and computer modem. Sent from my RS501 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
My local marine store is starting to really suck ass! Prices have gone up and i get less. They were bought out by some other marina and those people dont know customer service. I needed a water pump kit for the boat. They bring out an impeller kit. 55 bucks! And no upper housing. That is extra. The upper housing did not even come with the stainless inner cap the impeller rides on. Extra for that. The base "kit" was 48 bucks and had no O ring or base gasket. Yup. Those are extra. 130 bucks for the same stuff I bought for 82 three years ago. Water separating fuel filter double what i paid last year. I had the lady make a copy of my bill and i wrote a note on it to the new owners telling them why they lost a long time customer that day. Idiots. Make your money today and give up future sales cause you raped your customer today. What a business model! Sent from my RS501 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Part numbers are your friend, free shipping, no tax to your door. I had the same thing happen I needed a solenoid for my tilt on the fishing boat. Local place wanted $36 on line $12.50 I can wait a few days and still have my dignity knowing the local shop did not bend me over.
Yeah while I am ranting the tilt motor had power down not up, has to be the solenoid I was sure of it, so sure I did not bother putting the meter on the old solenoid to test it. Nope it is the up leg on the reversible motor for the tilt.
I wish the Dr would just fill the damn prescription instead of going in then waiting for lab results, I know my body I know this feeling from experience. One the bright side I don't need to run the AC.
Life of the sports parent. Daughter is playing in her first big national exposure tournament today in Indianapolis. I'll be watching online from VA and I'm nervous as crap and I'm not even playing! Not even hungry..damn these nerves. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I'd say I'd boycott them, problem is I think their over priced product tastes like liquid tar to me so I won't ever drink it anyways.
