The dollar generals they've been putting up around here sell everything. It's like a mini Walmart.

The the heat exchanger in my boat puked.

Now, I just broke a tooth!

    Crap!

I don't like hippy beer, girl beer, soccer, and the Minnesota vikings, this will never change.

Dollar Generals and Family Dollars are popping up all over rural America. In the closest town to which I hunt in central MI; there is a grocery store, a TSC knock off, and both FD and DG, All within sight of each other. It's only a 2 stoplight town.

There are probably 2-3 other DGs that are closer than the closest Walmart. And a couple TruValues, for that matter. The DGs and FDs sell everything from car oil to baby clothes to near-full service grocery; and everything in between.

They're all over here as well, even the small towns have one.

Last time I was in one, they were literally a dollar store. Everything was a dollar, was just a step up from a thrift shop.

Truth be told it's been even longer since I have been in an Aldi's, probably 1985 or 86.

The chickens i get for the smoker i get from Aldi. Cheapest place in town and no one can tell the difference from a Tyson brand. Well except for the size. Tyson sells tiny chickens

I used to raise meat birds, I let the ones I kept till they were 12 pounds live weight, people paid extra for the bigger birds. My slogan was You have to be a rooster to get a better piece of chicken.

Sirius XM and their online renewal. Seems every single time I end up having to call them anyway because the activation signal never goes through. Been 2 hours now and still says unauthorized.

We get our eating chickens from my wife's coworkers parents that happen to live just down the road. Whole birds freezer ready are 7 to 8 pounds. Puts commercial birds to shame on taste and tenderness. Well worth the price we pay.

Music I want to listen to without having to use my music on my phone. I also listen to fox news channel which is the same as what is airing on TV. Plus don't have to switch or search for stations when leaving an area either during deer season or on a trip.

Listen to channels 38, 39, 40 and 114 mostly. Ozzy's Boneyard, Hair Nation, Liquid Metal and Fox news respectively.

Pretty much same for me. No commercials, don't have to play music on phone or USB (though I do on occasion when I want to listen to a full album). If I want to listen to a game, I can. For me, it's nice to have the ability to not have to switch channels or search when driving cross country.

Lithium, Turbo, Hair Nation, Octane, Classic Vinyl and Classic Rewind are pretty much the main channels for me

It's worth 5 bucks a month for me, but I won't pay more.

...sure, but you can get all that for free on Pandora. Just a 30 second commercial every 15 minutes or so. And FoxNews app is also free.

just saw this post. Guess it'd be worth $5 mo.

With music royalty fees it actually equates to 6 bucks a month, but I still pay it.

I just like to be able to listen to a single station or have 2-3 on back up when a crappy song comes on. Local radio you get one maybe two choices, but it gives me a 4th or 5th option.
