"Mueller: If we had confidence the President did not commit a crime, we would have said so" You know how many crimes are committed every single day by members of our Congress and Executive Branch? Sad to say, but every single day a crime is being committed by those people. Back room deals, misuse of funds, misuse of emails, misuse of citizen purchased equipment, lying under oath...and on and on. The list is endless.
That stuff sucks, get it every once in while. Finally had to break down and go get some medication for it. Luckily only gotta take few pills for couple days then goes away. Then found out it tends to run in my family, grandma and uncle haveta take a pill every day to keep it away. They could write medical book on all the stuff runs through my family ha. Certain foods will make it flair up too so if u can figure that out can avoid it. Seafood, mainly shellfish, does it for me. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
IL legislature currently debating "Fix The FOID" bill. Idiots are debating through their lobbyists lawyers(Moms Demand Action, Brady Campaign etc..). They have no clue what their wanting to pass or what effects it will have, just lining their campaign funds. This will need expedited through the courts somehow if it passes.
Expect IL hunting/fishing licenses and permits fee increases next year. DNR funding has been stripped from FOID revenue and the fat slob of a pig stated she has assured the director she would work to get the funding they need elsewhere.
So my dad’s flight into DFW to visit my brother's family got rerouted into Little Rock because of storms. But, they won’t let him off the plane. So he is sitting at the airport in town with no idea if he will actually make it to Dallas or not. My wife and I live in Little Rock. I am at work and there is no point in my wife taking the kids up there to see if him since they won’t let him off the plane and they won’t cancel the flight. He has been sitting in the plane at the gate for the last three hours. No idea if he will get to Dallas today or not. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Haha true. Hope everybody got what they wanted voting the idiot governor we got now. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Well, so far they have gotten added to the ballot a change to the IL constitution getting rid of the flat tax in 2020. Yesterday the house crammed through the abortion bill and today its the FOID bill. I hope it falls flat on its face, but have my doubts.
Remember Ralph Johnson. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tara-mcclary-reeves-memorial-day-ralph-johnson
I share in the travel woes, but I travel often and have status. So, by getting stand by, on an earlier delayed flight, I'll get home earlier than my later delayed flight, and after the scheduled time of my original flight.
Was just reading up on it that new foid bill, it's pretty much garbage. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
FIFY It's typical "never let a good crisis go to waste" Democrat tact. Nothing in this will prevent what already happened, nor will it prevent the next one. Why do I say that? One might ask. Because one has already happened, and the other has yet to occur. It will solve nothing. They are worried about thousands of FOIDS that have been revoked but no weapons or FOID cards surrendered. They do not state how many of that number of revoked FOIDS are people who left the state and no longer need to renew an unconstitutional registration in their new home. It simply expired and therefore becomes void. How many of those revocations are deceased FOID holders who the system has not alerted the data base to delete? Democrats are opportunists and tilt on the edge of racism with their gun control efforts. They want to hold those who need it most, low income families in poor neighborhoods, accountable for the mentally ill who carry out harm to a lot of innocents. I say a lot of innocents due to the fact "gun violence" numbers do not separate gang violence from the total tally. They need the poor to be dependent on big government to protect them. If they mandate it too expensive for them to defend themselves on their own, they have created that dependency themselves. Separate from the above "Fix the Foid" bill, knowing our state and potentially future federal government, I will say this.... I obey the laws, be it what they may, but rest assured if the choice for me ever comes to judged by 12 or carried by 6, any law in question will be tested in court.
So my dad’s flight was finally canceled after six hours of sitting in the airport. I wish I could say he was at my house watching the Stanley Cup finals with me and my boys. Unfortunately, he is at a hotel downtown. My toddler was diagnosed with Hand, Foot, and mouth virus. Harmless to adults but it can make infants very sick. Since he was traveling to my Brothers’s house to meet the newest grandson, we cannot see him. He could still give it to my nephew. This also means my family has to cancel our plans to join them this weekend because we are contagious for the next week. This really sucks. My kids wont get to see their grandparents this summer now. All these celebrities and their wives/husbands posting every intimate detail of their lives. Nick Foles wife posting on her social media sites about having a miscarriage. It's like they eat up the attention and it isnt even about the terrible thing that happened. Carefully crafted "words of wisdom" to their loyal followers. It is so played out. My wife had a miscarriage 12 yrs ago. We kept it between our family and friends. No fb post with pics of my wife in a hospital gown. No words of wisdom to "help others through our tragedy". I'd much rather hang out with a real person who speaks like a normal human being, maybe a little rough on the edges, as opposed to being around and listening to these well schooled social media people. Nick Foles wife quotes..."The emotions go back and forth from immense and overwhelming sadness, confusion and anger to a firm belief that God has this fully in his hands and will use this for good" I mean who speaks like that? It's like the words are chosen to get a "like" instead of being real. It's so weird. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Their own system doesn't work for revoked cards and there's no new law that will fix that. I have first hand experience dealing with that very thing. 6 or 7 years ago my foid got revoked while on probation. Called to ask about what I should do with the firearms registered in my name and all they said was to give them to someone who has a valid card. It didn't happen of course and once my suspension was up I got a new foid. Hopefully they know better than to open the can of worms that would be involved with confiscation. Like you said I obey laws best that can, but if it came down to protecting myself or family there's no law that will stop that. If it came down to it I'll take my day in court and it'll either work out or not. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
