Sota. I worked for the d.n.r years ago on the burn crew. Hours n hours of boredom followed by a few Holy Sheets!!
most people have no idea how much sitting in a car for 5+ hours consecutively day after day will tear your body up... gout back pain sciatica foot drop are all ailments I have at least in part have attributed to bum-ba-dah-dummmm....sitting in a car for hours on end, day after day.
About a year and a half ago my left big toe started hurting like hell. Stinging and numb. Weird feeling. Researched and figured it must be gout. I was like wth. Upped by water intake, reduced some protein for a bit, and tried to stop sitting in my car for so long. Had that pain for months then it finally went away and havent had it since. W...T...F... Sota, since I have yet to have had three straight days without rain in over a month and therefore have not had time to finish my boat, can I borrow one from your armada of 375?
Had The Gout off and on since 2010. I definitely attribute the onset to a six-month thing I worked where I was in the car for 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. Eating crap food of course. Since then whenever it flares up I'm able to dial it back with better food and exercise but it's always lurking.
A Hilton hotel trying to be a 'W' (frequent travelers may understand that analogy). I'm not a fan of their decor, but the bed is comfy.
Yeah there is lot's of boredom made me more patient though. I used to do details up in the Superior NF after the million acres of trees blew down. A detail is typically 14 shifts. I would go up and cut ignition lines thru the blown down all day every day for 14 days, probably why I can no longer stand to run a chainsaw.
I believe I have one. Forgot about it after the move. Thanks for the reminder. The muscles are stuck in a constant pinch.
Well the service center called. The old truck is done. Only the 2nd truck ive had in the past twenty years. Looks like a new truck is out of the question as they are seriously expensive these days. Time to shop.
New program being installed in youth sports in Minnesota parents kept in the stands offset from the field, coaches have to prepare the players before the game and at halftime. Coaches and parents not allowed to interact or communicate with referees. What sport is it......Soccer
From my little experience in one, I would say that leaning in a saddle is way more comfortable than sitting in any tree stand seat I have ever sat on. More comfortable the brand new chair in my office at work as well.
