Took old motor oil to autozone this morning to dispose of it. Cap fell off and spilt a gallon of it in the back of my Jeep. Despite, having it wrapped in a big trash bag, most of it still got out. Looks like I will be taking the carpet out this weekend to clean the mess. Did the beat I could with paper towels at the store. Not how I wantes to start my long weekend or my son’s birthday today. A acetone is your friend it will allow you to wick up the oil and evaporates off fast leaving no odor.
Thanks, I have already removed the old carpeting and it is down to the metal panels. I was able to get the oil out with rags. The windows are down to air it out. If that doesn’t get rid of the smell, I will wipe it out with acetone. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
