Several years ago I had a flowering dogwood in the yard. Neighbor kids were always climbing and playing in it as branches were low. Had some dead limbs on one side and think it was twisted with winds at one point succepting it to disease. Told them ton stay out of it didn't want them to get hurt and be sued for it. Day after day in the summer I came home to them half way up the tree. So I cut it down. Now they are using another tree in the right of way to climb, seen in last photo. Going out to cut the lower limbs off as the kids have grown in height and are now climbing it. I don't have insurance so I can be sued, I have it to protect my equity in property. Who gets sued with a tree in front of the house in a public right away? Who owns the sidewalk? Who has to maintain both by law?
