Well in true comedy central fashion, you can be sure that they will re-broadcast the Jb roast repeatedly for the next month.
I don't have to deal directly with any ins. companies (thankfully) Sometimes the billing company will send a chart back to me to try and come up with different codes to get a ins company to pay but usually it's coded right and the insurance co. is just being dumb. (like having to explain that there is a world of difference between a spontaneous abortion and an elective abortion) CMS is the worst tho'. You can't argue with those guys and all the dumb new rules start with them. In fact they must employ hundreds of people who's job is to sit around and come up with ways to make healthcare more convoluted and expensive. As a medical coder I can't wait for ICD-10 to be implemented. (deep sarcasm) And yay for PQRS codes! (not!) :D
I frickin hate it when I loan someone something and I either have to hunt them down to get it back or they want me to come get it. The worst is when they don't even tell you they are done with it until you call looking for it only to have them tell you they finished with it weeks ago and "been meaning" to bring it back.
I will admit I did that with my friends wood splitter, I was busy replacing the fuel pump, changing the hydraulic and engine oil as well as the recoil before I brought it back.
People who park in disabled parking spots that are not and people that park in the marked off section next to disabled even if they are disabled so I can not get my wife into the van.
I would imagine living in Iowa you are more inclined to see pretty country shemale hogs than me so either way you want to interpret it.
99% of the time when a provider or billing rep has an issue with us, it's because of a cms rule. Then the reps get pissed at us because we can't tell them how to bill.... Per cms rules...
It's mainly the fact that I have to be on hold for approximately 10 or more minutes every time I call. Or dealing with PA Medicaid. They put you on hold forever, get on the phone, put you on hold again, then it disconnects. Thankfully I've been getting easier people to understand. But when I have to say "Excuse me, what was that?" ten times, it's frustrating. I don't really want to think about ICD 10, lol. I know it's coming, our system is already starting to switch in some spots. I just hope it is easy to adapt to (or that the company sends me a book with the updates). PQRS isn't too terrible at my office. We don't have much Medicare. But add in Highmark Stars/HEIDS reports - those can make me want to scream when I get the new report and they show none of the codes that were previously in a different claim.
People that take fantasy sports way too seriously. And... When someone throws in cheap shots when you're having a debate with them. Can you please save the stupidity until after?
It bothers me when someone uses the words client when they should say customer. These words are not interchangeable.
A good way to determine if you have a customer vs a client is to ask yourself if you have a fiduciary obligations to the person. If the answer is yes they most certainly are a client.
