This rain sucks. This morning my family and I are supposed to do a fundraiser walk to support the nonprofit the helped us adopt our middle son. I am proud of my kids. Both are 7 years-old. Together they raised a little over $1000 in the last month. I was planning on shooting the R100 this afternoon after the walk is over. I have three roofs holding up closings. One of them is a 92 Square monster that will take all of 3 or 4 days and the others are just one day jobs. Looking at the forecast, rain predicted everyday next week.. If it keeps up I will be roofing an Arc.
And not to trying break my arm patting myself on the back.. but.. I just received a link from a job we did over the last couple of years. I love when people use bible quotes to condemn others, really makes you wonder if they ever read the thing. After all, Jesus hung out with a hooker, was never married and only hung out with 12 guys. Sounds a lot like my gay friends in college. Just sayin'.. One of my best friends growing up is gay and a full blooded Kiowa Native American. Native Americans call him an in between and he carries more weight than the Chief or Tribal elders. The place value on him bc they believe he can see both the feminine and masculine side of a decision which helps settle disputes and arguments. I remember back in high school this guy kept making fun of him and putting him down for being gay, quoting the bible and whatnot.. they've been married for going on 12 years now and together for over 25. Seems like it's always the ones that have the biggest problem with it are merely masking their own personal struggle with their sexuality.
Stuff men do ha! I've born two children, one going through 21 hours of labor and 4 of that was pushing. I hunt , fish, farm, cut timber, bake, do laudry, sew, Care for the grandkids ect, Oh pretty good welder too , ect, ect. POINT is, nothing other than giving birth and whizzing out of a tree stand is either a man or woman thing to do. Heres some womanly advise for you to keep that Man card you hold so precious. Stop ,then think before speaking or typing. Then don't do either on the subject of real men.
Which one?..hahaha just kidding! Out here more woman hunt and many more than spouses. I was raised around woman hunters, my daughter hunts and her and her significant other (male) friends wives hunt. Husbands co workers wives hunt. I've sat in the waiting room of a womans breast clinic in the city and in conversation met many woman hunters over the years. Now that surprises me. Many of them that hunt more than me. So many guys have their daughters out there hunting and it sticks. I'm thinking that pic, scenario could easily be reversed in our area.
