I couldn't agree more. I was shocked that the mods did not delete that post and give him a time-out. Talk about preaching hate........, just horrible.
I will roof anyone no matter what their political, religious or sexual orientation. The only thing that changes is my pitch. When it comes to Dems, my new pitch when they want me to commit insurance fraud will be something to the tune of calling them a Trump supporter bc that sounds about like a Trump move. I find it fascinating that people get so riled up over politics, myself included, and have seem to forgotten that ALL politicians are self serving liars with nothing more than their own interests in mind. But thanks to social media and this countries divisiveness I now have a solid sales tactic.
Been on a break from hunting past three years. It's hard to go hunting when your FIL and MIL have cancer. There was a day I spent a lot of time in the tree, will I ever get back to that point. I don't know, I have other adventures I want to do.
In fact the date was Nov 14th the last day before gun season. I decided to hunt my stand on the back of the big woods along the river. I would sneak in on my 10ft boat with my electric trolling motors. The wind was perfect and it was a crisp 40 degrees out. I would get to the stand around 4:30 AM. When I hunted near a mature bucks bedding area I always wanted to get in there before them. I did not see any deer the first hour of light that day. I had decided to sit the entire day. About 45 mins later I hear something in the river. I then hear a critter walking down the path, I peek around the tree and I see Mr. Mass walking down the trail. I can still see him today, I still remember thinking "man he looks tired". He looked like a buck that had been on the run all week. I had bow in hand and I was ready. I had the setup so he would walk behind a huge tree I would pull the bow back and let him have it. He kept coming down the trail, he was just kind of lumbering like a big DT after a rough football game. He stop just before the tree which was 5 -8 yds to my right. He stood there looking down that trail for what seemed like forever. He started forward down the trail, I thought this is it, I begin to pull my bow back and setup for a shot straight out in front of me. This is where being LH cost me, what I did not see was he took two steps down the trail an then took a hard left and started to my right. I did not get turned in time and the pin set for a shot on my right. He then walk behind me and straight away to by left. Being LH I could not get turned enough to get an angle. So I only had a straight away shot, so I watch him lumber away. I hate that buck
Delta Airlines you hack bastards. The plane gets into Vancouver late we load they shut the door they announce we lost our landing spot in Seattle so I will not make my connecting flight. I call delta after I attempted to rebook on my laptop, I did not have good wifi out on the tarmac where we have been sitting for a half hour so I could not confirm that I was indeed rebooked. I call and they say yes you are on a 4:30 flight landing at MSP at midnight. I asked the sky medallion representative if there is an earlier flight, she told me that she can not rebook because I have already boarded the flight, I called BS because I had already rebooked once on my laptop, she then told me that I would be in coach. I then asked for a supervisor, I then explained that this is absolute bullshit as a platinum sky medallion customer I do not fly coach. I paid for a first class ticket it was not an upgrade I will not be flying coach. took 10 minutes of explaining for them to understand the situation. So pissed off a long week on the road and instead of getting home and relaxing on a Friday night I will be getting home at 2 in the morning.
You know sometimes being really good at being an a-hole comes in extremely handy. I landed in Seattle and found the delta help desk, when I was done I was rescheduled on a flight at 1:30 instead of 4:30 oh and thanks to the $40 voucher from Delta I am enjoying free bourbon. I guess Delta isn't so bad.
I plan on shooting the R100 tomorrow. Went to check my gear this morning before work to make sure it is good to go and the rangefinder wouldn't work. Hopefully, a new battery is all it needs but my wife couldn't find the right one at the store this morning. I am making a stop on the way home. My buddy that was going to do it with me had to back out at the last minute, so I can't even consider borrowing his. After dropping $1100 on the leaking gas pipe issue yesterday, I don't really have the time or the funds to go buy a new one tonight if a new battery doesn't fix mine. Probably couldn't get it past my wife anyway since my birthday and father's day are next month.

Jameson. I do have to admit I love that dazed look on the libs face when they lose an election, I will even listen to NPR the day after the election just to tune into the triggered angst. Oh sure the libs can elect refugees from Somalia and bartenders from NY but the White house is all that really matters.
