Having gone and looked at a job to put a basement back in where a house blew up because of a gas leak, I wouldn't worry about the cost of the repairs (I know you won't btw). Was one of the craziest/scariest things I've ever seen. We thought the basement was a walkout because of way the dirt work was done around house. Then the owner said, "no there was a full wall there. Its about 200 yards down the hill in that ditch." Apparently the pressure popped the corners off clean and blew a 8" thick wall of concrete into pieces that far away. Also blew most the windows out of the house probably 500 yards away. Luckily nobody was home when it happened. Wish coulda snapped some pics but between the owners and insurance guy walking around with us it probably woulda looked little unprofessional. Ha. Only other time have seen something like that was when we set off explosives in Marines. Good luck tho, hopefully ya get it taken care of. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Isn't the passport considered a photo ID? Here in PA a passport can buy you an alcoholic beverage if it's the only ID you have on you......
couple in Indianapolis (?) suburb a few years back thought they could get out of their mortgage with a "gas leak." Blew up half their block, killed some neighbors IIRC. Huge house, like 4000sqft McMansion.
I am leaving headed for the airport during rush hour, luckily I land back at MSP at 5:00 Friday night and that once agin is rush hour. My travel hat has now switched to a Minnesota Twin hat.
Yea there's been few in this area last couple years. Just this past winter a new house that was goin in some place in Missouri, I think, blew up during the construction. Again nobody around. Then there was a line that blew when a guy and his son were tiling a feild. Unfortunately they were both killed. Believe it was over around Springfield maybe. But the tile machine got stuck and they hooked to it with another piece of equipment trying to pull it out and ended up being stuck on some kind of utilities line and it blew. Crazy stuff. Guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself. It has been a horrible couple weeks. Getting tired of that squishy sound that comes from beating my head against a wall.
