Alcohol abuse. Was at my brothers funeral and it just made me realize how many of my family members have really screwed up their lives with alcohol abuse. I will not succumb to that crap. I refuse to.
People who vomit in the sink of the locker room at the gym and do not tell the staff. My coworker just found this in the women's locker room. She spent the last two hours in a meeting so it could been sitting in there that long. This is a medical school, there is no excuse not reporting a health and sanitation hazard.

Headlights!!! Had custom headlights built for my truck a few years ago. Guy turned out to be a hack and the lenses fogged up from the inside. Bought some extra bulbs for them just in case. 6 months later had another pair made by a reputable builder but wqs waiting for the current set to fail and they have lasted 3 years. Bulb finally went out, went to change it and the replacement bulbs are different, $70 pair of garbage bulbs. Have to switch everything out tomorrow, all the wiring, everything. Be nice to finally see them in the truck though.... just in time for mushrooms. Grrrrr....
Snow forecasted Saturday here, good god still going to be mixed rain it is going to be a cold wet weekend, really not fired up about burning wood again this weekend.

I ranted at myself all the way back home. I was tempted to just call it a telecommute day and pop a top.
My friend that has spent that last five years fighting with brain cancer passed away peacefully in his home yesterday morning. His struggle is over, and though he will be missed by many, it is better for him now. My wife and I found out shortly after putting the kids to bed last night. Cancer sucks. The world lost a great man. He leaves behind his wife, daughter, and a son who is in his second year at West Point. Not looking forward to telling our kids about it when they get home from school today, this is the second friend we have lost to cancer in as many months.

Damn! I just had to send an apology e-mail out to a company. They sent me an E-MAIL and it set me off when it shouldn't have. Pretty sure person reading it isn't paid enough. The second they replied, which was fast, I knew I'd been an ass. Eye roll. Saving grace, I bet they don't get too many apologies.
