IL has some of the strongest stand your ground laws in the nation ironically enough. Now they are realizing they have "shall issue" concealed carry and tens of thousands(should be hundreds of thousand with FOID count) and are trying to change the parameters to own a gun and issuance of CC license to "May Issue" ala Hawaii who has never issued one to common folk.
Pretty sure I read that scenario is about to be adjudicated in the SCOTUS via a NY case. Decent chance "may issue" get thrown into the trash heap. To be fair, the 9th Circuit already ruled that a state must have either "shall issue" or allow open carry. Only applies to that district but only a matter of time before it's adjudicated nationally.
notice how the crowd barely made a peep at 2 punks whipping on an older man until he pulled his pistol; then it was all screams and "Nooooooo" which you could tell they were sympathetic to the aggressors. Not sure if you read the full story but apparently the guard pulled and used pepper spray on the punks, at some point in the scuffle he dropped it and one of the punks was picking it up when the guy pulled his piece.

If Barr and/or the IG has any integrity at all several high level DOJ/FBI people are facing jail and probably taking Obama cabinet members with them. I'm pretty read in on this from the start, but tonight's episode really nailed everything down. No; I'm not a Hannity lemming. But facts are facts.

John Stewart while being my fav lib and a excellent debater is and was a paid comedian. He never brought news it was a comedy show.
Unless it is an ongoing event that breaks into regular programming none of the "News" channels have news. They all havehour long opinion segments on the story of the day, most of which are what they make it. It's all 24 hour agenda driven BS. With most of them being liberal controlled and biased they coordinate the narratives and come of with catchy phrase or words of the day. "Manufactured Crisis", "Russian Collusion", "Obstruction". Once one gets proven wrong they pivot to the next. They say them so much and so often they become sticking points and then they really start to believe themselves. News can be summed up in 30 minutes justlike it had been befors the advent of cable television. 30 minutes of local with some national followed by 30 minutes of World News. Now, for some reason we need 24 hours of non stop coverage. We don't need to ban guns to fix the country, we need to ban all 24 hour news channels and put real education back into our school systems.
I would add that Hannity is not a news show either...it's an opinion show. Not saying there is anything wrong with that...there are many opinion shows on Fox, CNN, MSBC, etc.
