Yeah, I'm just talking about the slap-an-exhaust-on kind ... Completely different ballgame when they actually do some real work on them.
People who have never been in microbiology, and don't know WHY vaccines are important, yet claim a person who posted a comic should "know what he's talking about". That's my rant for today...
Realizing that I could cut my mortgage by at least $300/month in a house worth $100K more than mine, but being too stubborn and dead set on finding land that I won't take advantage. Can current low interest rates really be a rant? :D
You don't have to know squat about biology to know that the cartoon was obviously, blatantly, and inexcusably stupid and pointless. If your kid has been vaccinated, even if every little kid in his/her class gets the measles or whatever, your kid ain't gonna catch anything. And it's really beside the point and irrelevant, but my wife will be getting the Ph.D. in biology in May. That's my rant for the week.
Actually.... If you were so great in biology, you'd know that what you say is false. Herd immunity protects you, not the vaccine individually. When one person has the vaccine vs a bunch with the measles, the measles will mutate and get the kids who are vaccinated, sick. The cartoon is completely relevant...
TV commercials that make the man out to be a stupid dufus who can't do anything in a home or make any life decisions....
Not just commercials, same thing on sitcoms and other shows. They all portray the white male father as an idiot who is clueless.
On top of this, infomercials that make using a normal product look like rocket science.... Believe it or not, I can cut a loaf of bread without smashing it completely flat with almost any knife...
people who expect you to drive 20 miles to meet them so they can buy a $20 item you have on Craigslist.. After I put in the ad I will not meet you... BTW.. I normally tell them I will meet them at the grocery store parking lot down the street from my house and never at my house.
Seriously?!?!? lol How horrible, a PARENT that actually takes their own child to school each day instead of dumping them off onto a bus drivin by God knows who to take them to school..... pure evil I tell ya
If you lived in the area I do [Roswell GA] you would understand we have 4 high schools, 4 middle schools and 6 elementary schools within 6 miles of the house.. The amount of extra traffic that puts on the road in the mornings and afternoon awful, in a more rural area it would not be so bad..
wasn't this way 30 years ago..that is why we are trying to move elsewhere trying to get things lined up with jobs...
Why in the world are there so many schools located within such a small proximity? That much growth? Why not add to an existing school as opposed to building more? 4, 4, and 6... Seems like people would have to literally be living on top of one another in that small of an area to fill 14 schools.
We had 4 elementary schools in a town of 10k people. About 6 years ago they shut down all of them and built a huge one. Made a ton of sense. Now we only have 3 schools like it should be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They have added on to several of the schools, you should see the school part of my property tax.. We live Roswell a northern suburb just subdivision after subdivision on 1/4 ac lots, we live in an older sub and have an acre woohoo lol Roswell might as be part of ATL now.. .. traffic almost 24/7 I didn't even add the three private schools within 7 miles as well.. How I have lived here this long without snapping I don't know..
part of Roswell we live in is not a bad as others as far as crowded, but they won't stop building new subdivisions 3 new ones going in within 2 miles.. I get out soon enough..
I'm tired of people criticizing someone else's animal. If you weren't there in the stand with them all season long, then keep your yap shut and say: "Good job! Congrats!" otherwise be quiet and go about your business. Not every state or county has the genetics or the deer herd you may have. Maybe someone had a rough season and needed to just "fill the freezer"... who knows, who cares. It's called being a SPORTSMAN! Let's act like it!
