The funeral I am going to we will be staying at the deer "shack" all of us college and family brothers will be there. The man that passed deserves our ultimate respect and he would want us all to gather again at the shack.
Negative. But Andrews has colleagues who can do the surgery, he pretty much has made a living perfecting it. Tommy actually pitched batting practice for us at a company event. He was a scout for a while working for the Carolina Knights (White Sox farm team) at the time and also did a motivational presentation. Being one of our the older folks (mid 40s at the time) in the office I just didn't want to embarrass myself. He was in his 60s at the time. 2 of my hits likely would've been 6-3 outs, but I did sneak a nice blooper in between the in and out fielders. We had some kids that played college ball, and John was still able to throw them some decent heat. After, he had lunch with us, he signed some balls and spoke a lot about a cause near and dear to him, ALS, along with his friend's battle with the cruel disease, Catfish Hunter's.
I have spent that last five years watching a friend slowly die from terminal brain cancer. Yesterday he was honored in church because he is on hospice now and probably won't last the month. This has been exactly his attitude. He has spent that last year and half living in the moment and finding as much joy as possible. I don't know how he has kept such an amazingly positive attitude. He doesn't want anyone remembering his pain or suffering, he wants people to remember him enjoying life while he has it. The world will be a darker place when he is gone.
Ah, April 1st the only day people are critically evaluate things they find on internet before accepting them as true.

Reproducing every three days and eating 37x its body weight is fish and bugs daily? Definitely a joke.
Well let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! I just got home from watching the grandbabies for a Dr.appoinment. Lot's of hugs ,kisses and love you. Then started home the back road way. He was coming down around the curve as I was going up. The truck was high enough to just see the top of cab. It looked odd coming at me so I braked . He came in fully in my lane and I had just enough time to yell whoa! Steering farther off edge of road without hitting the ditch. He yanked his wheel so hard the truck tipped and his front tire came off the road, missing me by less than a foot. Talk about rebirth I think I pulled a muscle in my back I tightened up so hard. I always say God has a strange sense of humor giving me a April fools birthday. He reminded me of that a little while ago.
Aau tourney time. Already expensive. Now the NCAA is making us pay 90 bucks for our daughter to be registered in their recruiting portal. Absolute money scamming NCAA. Give me a break Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I don't live in the city. I live in probably the most conservative town in Cook County. We even have a Republican mayor. Not even a RINO. That being said, Lightfoot is better than the other corrupt twat on the ticket. She's still a Prog but not part of the Chicago Dem machine
Trying to find a ortho doc that specializes in shoulders. I tweaked my shoulder Sept last year. Not much pain and it seemed to be doing OK until all the snow this Feb. Cutting and hauling 4-5 cord of firewood didn't help. So, now looking to get it looked at. Call a couple of the ortho clinics (in network) here and ask if they have a shoulder specialist on staff. "I don't think so" or "no-we do xxxx" So, I go to the employers links to find a doc. Can only search by ortho-can't refine to the subspecialty. Up comes the list, 3 pages long about 40 hits. Some are repeats due to practicing in more than one location. Click on a name to find their subspeciality, 90% have nothing listed. Revert to Google search the names. About an hour later, I am down to 4 possibles. In my head, I was thinking I could find a doc with 10-15 years experience who's been there done that and has so many tee shirts, they could wear one every day and not repeat for several years. #1 has been practicing 5 years-he's out. #2 9 years but not board certified-he's out #3 8 years but board certified-not really a shoulder expert. Lists a couple other joints #4 28 years, (makes him my age mid to late 50's) board certified Not much to choose from... My wife had her shoulder done about 8 years ago. Doc was excellent!! Would have been a no brainer except he passed away 3 years ago. May have to start looking out of net work. Ouch!
