VS, your Budweiser is safe from me. I'll never drink it again.
Dumb as it sounds, this seriously pisses me off. Bud has been a staple of my whole adult life. Even considered it a bastion of masculinity against all the sissified beers.

I've never thought my wife lesser than me. Ever. She's deployed 2x to the sandboxes. That's 2x more than I have. She's served her country, seen people blown to bits, hell been even been mortored herself.

But whenever I've had a late night at work, I come home to a poured drink and dinner waiting. Maybe dinner is cold, but it's waiting. Not because I demand it, but because she wants to take care of me. That's what couples do- take care of each other. Pick up each others' slack. That's both our duty to each other as spouses. Doesn't mean one's role is less than the other. It's not about equality, its about equilibrium.

When AB changed these ads, they insulted my wife.

    Woman. Patriot. Soldier. Wife.

    Screw you, Anheuser-Busch. Essen Scheisse.

Think this pic sums up about everything that any man that respects his woman and wife know she is not below the man. Only they submit to the man because that is what a woman that loves her man does, not only because it how it spose to be it Gods order. Problem with America and the world toda is the order has been broken.

How bout this? No such thing as sexism. If your woman say take trash out its mans job. And u dnt take trash out and she does u feel like less of a man.
Man says to wife make dinner im hungry its a womans job to cook. You know what happens if she decides to not cook? U starve or cook, and how the woman feel empowered, y? She made her man do something he didn want to. Who is sexist now??

My wife is a tough woman as well. I actually like making her dinner, getting her some dessert, and taking care of her when she is wiped out. And I will still drink Budweiser. Damn it.

My wife could burn a bowl of cereal.. If I want anything cooked, I'm the one that better be doing it. That being said, she is a financial genius so it's a pretty fair trade!

yeah, it's not to say that mine does all the cooking- it's probably actually 60/40 me since I do all the grilling and the majority of our meat and veggies are grilled. It's the principle that some people actually think because an ad depicts a woman pouring her husband a drink it's inferred she's somehow the lesser partner. Fricking absurd. If they want to make a new ad campaign with different roles fine whatever, but they're actually making a big deal about it as being a corrective measure. They're proud to be righting some imaginary wrong that they committed.

    They're deluded.

    Well , well interesting
Men/women, as groups we are all the same in some respects, though individually different in most. As couples it's the same as what I previously said.
Here my husband goes to work and brings in our income. I stay home and do everything else. When I'm ill he takes over, when he's ill I pamper him. I won't do the garbage or recycling. I use to, but then he went on a rant over how I separated things. That ended that job, his lesson learned. He would mow once in a while, until he mowed over a few bushes. That ended his mowing, my lesson learned. I'll never see him ironing his clothes He'll never see me fixing the equipment I use. I manage the property and food grown, he does the paperwork.
Now it's not that either is better at these things. It's that we are anal on how they should be done. Just 2 anal people avoiding a major ...hemroid...LOL

If I caught my wife recycling there would be issues.

Recycling is a big fat lie, it is exporting garbage.

No argument here ,though for people living in the country it's a money saver. I have refused to pay for garbage pickup since we moved out of town. We use to be able to burn paper goods, not anymore NYS made burning barrels illegal. So we take our stuff to the land fill. They charge per bag so recycling cuts down on bags.
