Yeah I see my fair share of skinny jean wearing perfectly trimmed beard having wuss bags driving big trucks that will never see the dirt or work they deserve, crying shame. I know for a fact that their inner hipster really wants the Prius they deserve. And I would put that number more at about 30%.
I had a PB&J for breakfast, I wolfed it down with a cup of coffee had to get the project running so no time for lunch. I did get a nice e-mail from Delta asking me to choose what meal I would like on my flight home from Vancouver, I may not enjoy food that much but there is no way in hell I am eating vegetarian lasagne with kale.
So I am in Prince Albert to commission a new cell at their landfill, because of local laws I could not make any of the electrical connections. Well I watched the electrician dilly dally around the better part of two days. This afternoon we fired up the pumps and the flow input was not being recorded, the electrician insisted that the sensors my company supplied were not working. The construction supervisor asked me what I was going to do about it, I told him to send the electrician to town to go for lunch. He did and by the time the electrician got back it was all running perfectly. Damn kids.
I would say that's an arbitrary measurement standard but I can tell you that the toll highways here in the Chicago area are in much better shape than the non-toll highways. They are also typically less crowded. well, when you're griping about paying more for everything b/c diesel prices are sky high and the costs are passed on to you as the consumer, I will also laugh.
Fu** deer. Hit one going 60 on the way to work this morning. Thankful for my truck. Only broke part is the plastic on the front bumper. Glad it didn’t take out the head light or anything else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I actually did a data model on gas cost and product cost for a company, what we found out was it did not actually add that much to the cost of doing business for them. The cost was a lot less than we expected to what it added to the product. This was back when fuel got up to 4 dollars a gallon.
This is honestly something I'm trying to work on Haha. If liberals need to be compassionate maybe I'm not as liberal as I thought. Well it looks like we will just have a gay old time together laughing.
I would really like to see said data model. Completely defies the laws of economics. Increased production/distribution costs are passed on to someone somewhere; whether that's directly to the consumer or to their own employees. Or at a huge hit to profits. Something's gotta give. Back when diesel was sky high I had to do some formula where I figured out how much the average paid consumer load a 1-truck owner/operator independent long hauler had to make to have his mileage rate actually turn a profit. Turned out it was almost impossible given road time restrictions.
sure let me see if I can find it, I did it like 12 years ago, it did raise cost, just not as high as my initial thought. My company was trying to figure out the factor we raise our prices to handle the rising gas cost. Funny thing is we never lowered prices when the gas dropped So it did not defy the laws, it just what not as high as we thought.
of course not, why ruin a good Overton Window? lol I suppose some deep dive into numbers could show something like if you raise prices slightly slower than your competition, you could potentially increase demand compared to your competition which could increase your company's purchasing power at scale, which could put downward pressure on your production costs. good lord I'm a nerd.
This idiot state senator who can't distinguish between law-abiding concealed carry and the gang violence in her neighborhood. Pretty sure there is some racism and threats of violence in this. Who elects these people?
For sure. I totaled the fiancés car a little over a year ago which sucked. So I’m glad this isn’t bad. I was looking and replacement part is probably around $100. I’ll be looking at junk yards for a chrome pieces. I have a odd color truck. It’s technically pearl I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What would you have paid to hunt moose in MI versus VS the costs incurred to catch wolves, transport them, etc... Oh and isn't this the island they keep running off of? 2019: https://www.mlive.com/news/2019/02/...rtex-ice-bridge-to-head-back-to-mainland.html 2008: https://www.lakesuperior.com/the-la...-ice-bridge-climate-change-and-wolves-140217/
