I agree...it should be up to the citizens to accommodate the government and its whims to tax us whenever they need money for social programs and insurances to get elected by city dwellers that dont drive. Well my sarcasm is used up for the day, see ya tomorrow
You figure out a vehicle that gets more than 15mpg, on good day, pulling trailers bout every day and I'm all for it. Don't think a gooseneck is gonna hook up to a prius. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Drunk drivers. Snapped this pic the other day. Lucky this idiot didnt have a passenger. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Was that the inside rail from oncoming side of split highway? That's pretty impressive if not, for it to slice through lile that when they are bent to keep thatfrom happening.
wow, so much for the compassionate liberals. Gas taxes hit working poor worse than anyone. They can't all live within a few miles of work. What if it's the only vehicle they can afford? What if they need to pull a trailer? And many non-degree required decent paying jobs are driving jobs where if the driver isn't taking the hit on the gas the company is; and you don't think they're going to find ways to avoid that extra cost? Layoffs, anyone? My work car has an 18 gal tank and gets an average of 25mpg+ and I have to drive a lot for work. I live 20 miles from my main office, 40 from the other, and I probably put 1800+ miles on per month. I have to fill up 2-3x per week. (Luckily I don't have to pay for the gas.)
LOL. When you described a trip to a "job site," I knew dang well an economy car wasn't an option for your profession. Hang in there.
In about a month I am going to walk to my basement. You could just go electric By the way I am not sure what the % of the fleet needs to be of electric cars before Gas gets REAL expensive. Because Gas stations will go out of business and the price will sky rocket!!!!
Haha Yea some ppl don't understand not everyone has same options. On top of that even if didn't need something like a truck, its 25-30 miles to get groceries from my driveway. And really it is what it is. Just pay it and keep moving. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Haha could make some money off selling tickets to that I'm sure. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I get new tires once a year and have them rotated and balanced for free every 4 months. I buy a new work truck every 140k miles, about three years. Oil changes are my only "repairs". On my personal cars, weekend never seen rain drivers, I pay normal maintenance for what they are. If you are asking how badly potholes affect my car, they dont bc we dont have them and if we do one call and 24hrs later they are fixed. Oklahoma City has pretty good roads and our turnpikes, aka toll roads, are as smooth as Tennessee whiskey.
Items that ship separately and they only send one tracking number, grrrr. Bought a 4 wheeler Saturday and ordered a snow plow for it Sat. night. Received it yesterday and went to put it on tonight since expecting 2-4" tomorrow. Rolled on the ground for an hour and a half getting the mount attached underneath. Open the big box and there's a blade and small box of hardware. Now blade/swivel attachment. Contacted seller and "Sorry about that, it shipped separately here's the tracking #." Shipped from PA and expected delivery Friday. Send all the damn tracking numbers together so it is known they will not arrive together.
I bet less than 2% of people who drive trucks drive them to a "work site" everyday. Those are the same snowflakes whining about paying too much at the pump. If you're paying out of pocket for your gas to get to a work site then yea that sucks, but if you're driving a gas guzzler and bitching about gas prices then I will get a good laugh out of it.
