Jake my wife is not real happy with the current weather the path I snowblowed from the barn to the crap pile is drifted in, and I am sitting in Orlando headed to boston.
We have hundreds of millions of people in this country. Sex is a big thing. People are gonna "mess up" and get s tug job every now and then. Who gives a damn. Other than sex slaves or underage prostitutes who gives a darn. People can kill full term babies. People can force the government to pay for their sex surgeries. People can desert their post and get their fellow service members killed looking for them only to be pardoned by a President. There is no moral compass in our country anymore. We have actually been house sitting for my girlfriends boss for the last few months while they are in Costa Rica for the winter. Unfortunately they do not have a plow on their truck and it’s too far to go home and get the skid loader/tractor. Just a crappy situation. I just want winter to be done with. I heard killdeers out in the fields last night and saw a red winged blackbird last week. Won't be long.
Update. Neighbor with the plow truck got stuck in the driveway. Got him out. His truck couldn’t push the snow because there was so much. Haven’t seen that much with a 4x4 with a V plow. Had to get his skid loader. Again... I’m ready for this to be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
this winter is continuing the trend I have noted here before. I don't really believe in global warming (certainly not human-caused) but I have noticed that it seems to me that the season are shifting a bit compared to the calendar. Seasons seem to run about a full month of where they did when I was a kid. And with the exception of one year I lived in Georgia in my 20s, I've always lived in the Great Lakes states so wouldn't be much difference geographically. That may not be backed up with real data but it sure seems that way. I remember freezing my butt off in early November deer hunting. Now I regularly don't need heavy gear until December. Also, it was rare to have snow still on the ground in late February. Now it seems like February is the snowiest month of the year. Or maybe I'm crazy.
I'm just going by the persimmon seeds I split in late October, they all had spoons. It was 60° here yesterday.
And a post of mine got intercepted by moderation once again. Is the word "illegal" illegal ? Or was "rip-off" ripped-off ... ? Seems I can put my talent to upset people to good use here ... ;-)
No, that's all over there (from my perspective...). In Utah, AFAIK ... I mean, the forum catched my post. Did I piss off a moderator ? I'm so polite, and tentative.
