Problem with where I live every jackass from the city comes out on the weekends because it is a closer trail to the cities. I hope one hits my truck, not that I want anyone hurt but the litigation would result in exactly what you are talking about. There is zero to little enforcement on the trails in my area, I would suggest a sobriety check point since most ride bar to bar.
Find out what club maintains the trail and tell them about this. I take it that the trail is in the "right of way"? Just tell the club they are lucky that it is or you would close the trail through your property. I would go so far as to put up trail cams in video mode and send some clips to the club. And by the way, I snowmobile.
No the ditch is within so many feet of the road, and while I pay taxes on it I have no input on usage it is considered right of way or some BS like that.

I am going to try to post this without swearing. I have to go to Canada to correct a problem and commission a pumping system. I have to be at the airport at 4:30 in the morning take 3 flights to get to Prince George then drive 8 hours to Prince Rupert. Prince Rupert is about 2 hours south of Ketchikan Alaska. My trip is pushed back because the proper motor lead was not done I leave Wednesday instead of tomorrow morning. Because my whole trip is pushed back a day I will get home about 10:00 Saturday night, I then have to be back at the airport Sunday for a 1:00 afternoon flight to Boston, and get back to Minneapolis the following Friday afternoon. I will be home long enough to repack my luggage and resupply the wood supply for the wife.
Better than my round trip to Qatar next week for one day. 17 hours none stop each way for a meeting that will last about 3 hours. This is like the 5th in 2 months
