Watch you dogs this time of year. Coyotes are breeding now and they will try to lure dogs away from the yard. A pair of them can open whoop ass on even a large dog.

Just got done with horse chores, that is a brisk wind. I drove by the deer laying on the hill on the way down the driveway, they had that feed me look.

Brisk is an understatement. Hurts is a better way to describe it. Chickens water was somehow empty. It sits on a heater but the top was froze on, had to use a heat gun on it for a good 10 min. Outside water faucet froze solid even with a heated hose attached for the last 2 days. Had to scoop water from the tank... talk about cold hands. Ready for it to be over with. yeah my schnauzer is pretty BA and I'm sure he could handle himself against 1-2 but that's not something I want to find out first hand. Just the vet bills alone not worth it, much less the stress on him after. Plus, there's rarely only 2 coyotes together behind my house. Sometimes it's a lone dog but usually 3-4 together. Beautiful coats, though. The ones behind my place run mostly to blonde rather than sable.

Picking and choosing which laws to enforce seems to be the start of legal chaos. What dollar value do you start putting on theft... is that pack of gum benign? By this thinking is securities fraud >really< hurting someone?
I'm the DC area the next couple days and temps are presently 23 with a low expected to be 6 (-10 with windchill) and it's 'the big story". Get a grip people.
-38 here. Just went out to fill the wood boiler (. Dragon) Sumbitches is eating wood like crazy! Not unbearable with no wind. Snow sure is squeaky.
