Since the shutdown started, Pelosi has taken a 10 day vacation in Hawaii; and the Hispanic Caucus (all Dems) took a long-weekend vacation in Puerto Rico. Granted; both are on US soil. But optics.....

Justin Timberlake was in town last night, my wife and I seem to be the only ones who didn't go because we don't care for his music. A little Facebook post about how I am glad my wife doesn't feel like we have to go to a concert just because all our friends are. People are losing their crap because I publicly stated we don't like the music enough to go to a concert. Get over yourself.

He relies on autotune for his vocals and pro tools for his music. Does he have talent? How in the god's name would anybody know with all the studio fakery he uses on his recordings AND on stage? Autotune should be as against the rules in the music industry as steroids are in the pro sports leagues.
I completely agree with you about modern pop music. I don't care for it. My favorite concert last year was when the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra played a live soundtrack to Raiders of the Lost Ark. One of my favorite movies, with an incredible live score, that is the type of concert I get excited about.
