She has a documentary on HBO about "regular people" (read people in flyover states) that I actually forced myself to sit through. Know your enemy, and all that. Anyway, it actually was not quite as bad as I expected, although still focused way too much on the stereotypical "yocal" kind of people. It seemed to be virtue signaling cloaked in a facade of open mindedness. Hard to explain. The gist I got was she arrives at the conclusion that we are not all stupid rednecks like she first thought, but there are still a lot of stupid rednecks. Maybe not as many as she thought, which means she is now more enlightened, but still a lot of stupid rednecks. Very little introspection. A lot of projection.

you guys may have, but federal district maps in a lot of states are garbage. I understand goofy lines for state/local elections but there is no reason for federal district lines to be anything other than county lines.
