Yeah, I'm not saying it would have evolved the same way or handled the same way. Oddly enough, as I link part of the divide to the way the ACA was passed under Obama, I also link a lot of the protesting and violence that is taking place to the Michael Brown shooting. Ever since then, when BLM started taking things to the streets and Obama and many other Dems did not condemn it, but more supported it things have gotten worse. You used to need permits to assemble in places where traffic and normal life would be disrupted. Now you just simply need an excuse, and everything Trump does triggers their "excuse". Now they take their protests to close highways, disrupt congress, chase people out dining in public venues and are being told to do it every time they see a Trump supporter. Then blame Trump for starting it. It's not going away anytime soon sadly.
Anyway. Good luck with the battle for the Supreme Court seat. Whatever side you are on, I hope it wins! A lot of people will think of me as being naive and uninformed (which, I am in this regards) and I could honestly care less. It seems like left vs right adds so much stress to peoples lives. It's crazy the length people go to express their opinions about the party in which they believe, and it will amount to nothing. No matter how much of this, or what you believe is right of that, will not sway any persons opinion if they already have an opinion formed about what party they believe in (and because of that each side will always feel that they are right and the other side is wrong). Never understood the no hunting on Sunday thing. People are always worried about losing their right to hunt but are totally cool with a state literally telling them they can't hunt on this day.
Virginia you can hunt on private lands on Sundays, just not public. It's just plain dumb. But my rant for the day. 7-11 drinks and lids. Ha. I've complained about the medium/large thing too. I tried ordering a small shake and was told the two sizes were medium and large. Me: Um, okay. Them: Well, which one do you want??
