My opinion, and my opinion only. I think Ford was a shocked liberal at the final tally of the election. She got engulfed in the anyone but Trump turned "Safe Space" movement and turned towards "Resist". As many have said, I think she very well could have had a sexual assault against her and dealt with it for years. Trump released his short list of potential nominees and Kavanaugh was a name she recognized and triggered her. She placed a name of whom she personally knew at one time with Trump and her mind took over creating things that did not happen. That is why she could not recall a date, location or who was there. Thought back to a time when they "hung out" and pieced it all together with names and a home she could remember. She might believe herself, IMO she isn't the exact model of a Plaintiff one would seek. Seemed rather spacey and scattered, sure you could place the blame on coming before the senate and nervous, but she didn't seem sure of herself. More as if she was coached(cohersed) on the questions themselves in the way they were asked. She made a lot of money in a few weeks time. Check Gofundme, several accounts with triple digits. Feinstein held onto and released it in a political strategy, delay was the only want. They got 10 days and want even more. With the way you have seen Trump's collusion investigation result in convictions/charges of not Trump, but those around him for nothing to do with collusion would you willingly subject yourself to an FBI investigation beimg nominated by Trump but questioned by anti Trumpster's? The nomination process is forever changed, from Bork to Thomas and now Kavanaugh it will never be served in the same light. Yet the same party was the vehement and poisonous side of the allegations.
At least he is getting a hearing, unlike Merrick Garland. Both sides are so full of it that they don't even see the irony in what they are doing. I sent both of my senators messages asking them to have a vote on Garland so they could vote no. I definitely didn't want a bunch of wing nuts like HRC would have tried to appoint, but this imbalance in favor of corporatocrocy is going to cause us as much damage as liberal idiots who think that the second amendment only applies to muskets. I would like to see every incumbent put out of office. We can go back to partisanship in 2020.

Government have become a crappy reality show and thanks to their corporate sponsors they are not their for us. Until we the people put our foot down and make them pass campaign finance reform laws nothing and I mean nothing will change. All this hub bub lately is nothing more than a rouse to make it appear they are really working, it's a joke. I refuse to vote for an incumbent this year, they all need to go. They do nothing more than pander to the people, both sides. Term limits need to put into law as well. Even though R-Langford from Oklahoma has surprised me lately it is time for both he and Imhoff to go.
I too agree with you on the partisan politics. I am an adamant voter I do not miss an election my wife as well. I do often vote against incumbents at every level. I can not recall the last time I voted for a candidate I vote against another would be more accurate. I also am the typical rural voter where it seems by sheer numbers the people that live by the tall buildings control the elections and it bugs me. Things will not change until there is a viable 3rd party.
I do have to ask a serious question about Ms Ford. How can someone that scatterbrained be a Dr. of anything?
