One party used precident and procedure, one party is hiring protesters and not following procedure, out of order and grandstanding.
Scrolled passed this on Twitter. NY Times is basically The Onion. How is this an actual story? “Global warming may have pulled an upset” (in regards to Roger Federer losing) https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/04/climate/roger-federer-loss-heat.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's a stretch.. I believe in climate change but boy is that article seriously making much ado about nothing.
Why would a homeless vet want nike shoes when nike pays Kapernik who refuses to stand and honor their sacrifice? Would seem like a pitiful insult to a homeless vet.
The Senate's role in regards to judicial nominees is to advise and consent. The majority in the Senate neither advised BHO to nominate Garland nor consented to his confirmation. In other words, they did their jobs. For once.
Because they are homeless and need the shoes. Not getting into the politics of how/why Kaepernick protested. As I said earlier. I'm seeing myself out of this discussion. I've expressed my opinion and will gladly read what others have to say.
MN..meant no disrespect. I just hate the manipulation of people. Mean Republicans who hate Kapercrap are burning Nike shoes when they could be donating them to Homeless Vets and Poor children. Come on. You know I got your back MN! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I am not burning my nike Packer gear, and those that do are doing it to post on Facebook. Why not buy a homeless vet a new pair of sketchers at Kohls?
For the record, kneeling has nothing to do with the flag, the military, or honoring veterans. He and the others are kneeling due to a perceived injustice in that they think the number of unarmed black men killed by police each year is suspiciously high. A reasoned statistical analysis would probably reveal it to be within the expected value, but like most of us, their perception is their truth. Just because Fox and Friends deems it unpatriotic does not mean that it is. The problem is exacerbated when police officers who actually should be convicted are not. I believe that the number of times in a year that a police officer wrongly kills someone is probably a .1% of all fatal police shootings, but we somehow managed to find insults everywhere and not address real issues. This is very well said. And nobody cared that they were kneeling until Trump pretended to be mad about it and convinced his gullible followers to pretend to be mad about it too. Trump cares less than anyone that people kneel for the anthem, but he's a great politition and he knows what riles up his base and feeds them like nobody I have ever seen before. And people eat it up like candy.
