I'm not dumping my nike work boots just because Colin "Lint Collector Head" Kapperdick found a source of income. I hope he gets a job back in the NFL soon. It's the only venue where I can watch him suffer violence and not have to feel guilty about it.

I respect your decision to not throw away perfectly good stuff. I just can't wear something with that symbol anymore. I fully admit the decision to dump them was easier made because it's the end of summer and these were nearing the end of their useful life cycle anyway. Just like I wasn't out there telling people to blow up their yeti coolers; but was fully supportive of those who wanted to voice their displeasure in that manner.

I haven't watched a game in a long time, but from what I remember not too much violence happening on the bench.

As to donating my shoes to charity; I'm pretty sure even the dirtiest homeless person wouldn't appreciate my stinky summer shoes all that much. If I had hoodies or T-shirts or something they would be donated. If the Nike store wants to give them to Goodwill more power to them.

If it's it handled, the point is money is not being taken out of your or my pocket right now, if it were you and me would have a different tune. If the farmers lose Mexico that's a big deal. People are currently losing money and have lost their jobs, so stating "it will get better" is something I bet they do not want to hear. If Trumps handles this and makes it better deal, he'll have another well done from me, but right now we have farmers losing money, bailouts and folks losing jobs.

I wonder how many "woke" sheeple supporters see the irony of a supporter of Mao, Che, Castro, and other communist regimes being the new face of, taking money from, and wearing the only symbol (swoosh) that better symbolizes American capitalist corporate greed than the Stars and Stripes for which he refuses to stand.

So I just look at the past examples. American farmers pay the price for it, not elected fatcat officials.

I'm not basing my views from an emotional standpoint, they come from my bottom line.

As far as Mexico coming back, did Russia and Australia come back or remain a purchaser after Bush Sr. gave all the wheat technology to them? Argentina is no joke agriculturally. They already have a thriving beef and ag crop industry.

I'm getting in front of it and planning on planting close to 4800 acres of industrial hemp next year.

I'll admit you have problems I couldn't possibly comprehend or give plausible advice for. Sorry for giving pat advice out of ignorance. Seems to be my calling in life.

It's not you, it is the constant struggle of being a farmer. It just seems like every time we get going on a good road we get thrown into the bar ditch and Washington always has something to do with it.

Just google "Market Facilitation Program" MFP is the USDA's answer to the specific tariff targeted commodities. Apparently there are a couple more programs in the works.

Basketball should be a great season, as for whatever that was on Saturday:busted:. Harbaugh needs to return his game check my university, THE poorest coach game I have ever seen.

IMO, he's being repaid in karma for some of the badmouthing he paid his alma mater in the past. Probably no worse place to be mediocre as a head football coach. I can't imagine the heat he's feeling.

What a joke! The NFL has a contract with Nike thru 2028 and now they are forced to watch this exploding ad campaign featuring a former player who is currently suing them in court. I miss the real NFL!

I wonder if Nike will release special additions of pig socks or Nike T-shirt’s with Castro only now with a Nike swoosh like Kapernick wore?

Maybe it's because there's a lot more annoying Irish fans in my area; but losing to ND is harder to stomach than losing to OSU. Seriously. That was awful.

How about the revelation that Commie Kaepernick has been on Nike's payroll this whole time? He's made more money from them than he would've in the League.

That sinking feeling in a nice hotel bar and you get your bill and it says $300, then you do the math on the peso conversion and it was only $15.50 american $.

First time I went to Costa Rica I got the bill from the hotel and it was 1,600,000 colones. I almost died, then it turned out to be around $2500 lol

Im sure a homeless veteran on the street would have loved a new (to them) pair of shoes. Any homeless person/charity would gladly accept those shoes in your picture.

Yes I’m playing devils advocate because I think it’s ridiculous that people are burning/trashing perfectly good shoes/clothes/etc instead of donating them to people in need. You may have different views than the message they put out but IMO it isn’t a reason to trash the stuff.

Extreme comparison: There are 300 Catholic priests accused of molesting children in PA. Why aren’t we boycotting the Catholic Churches, etc?
