Whoever wired my house did a terrible job. None of the breakers make sense. The same breaker that controls the gargage door also controls half the sockets in the baby’s room and it is not labelled. Looks like I get to play guessing games with the breakers I haven’t figured out so I can replace the one that has a short in it. It randomly quits working without tripping the breaker.

The longer we live here the less impressed I become with the previous owners.

I live in a house that we intended to bulldoze. When we put an offer on the ranch it was million to 1 odds my wife would ever get pregnant without fertility drugs, well guess what 2 days after our offer was accepted we learned she was pregnant. I live in a house that was built and added on 3 times by the previous owner. Every single remodel and project is a charlie foxtrot nothing is square, true or level. Electrical and plumbing on a slab floor house is a pain in the posterior. I feel your pain.

I gave up on my current house and hired an electrician to redo the breakers and electrical box. It looked like someone wanted us dead the more I looked at that electrical box. Wood. Wire frayed. Wth

Left the house at 5:30 zero traffic, got a prime spot in the ramp and no lines at security, only because nobody else is dumb enough to be traveling Labor Day morning.

Border Patrol has been all over the Detroit, Port Huron, and SSM area for years. Since 9/11, pretty much. But in one respect you're right- being CANADIAN means you don't have to have a visa- but only if you're Canadian. If you're not Canadian, but still a foreigner and you try to come in through a POE from Canada you will need a visa (unless you're from another of the visa waiver program countries.) Illegally, though...yeah, that's a growing problem. But just because flood water re-routes after damming it doesn't mean you shouldn't try to dam. So, yeah. Build the Wall. Most of the wall is intended to create choke points.

$25 billion is about the average number I read for the cost of the wall. $25 billion is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the federal budget- it is literally chump change. That 2% federal government employee raise POTUS just cancelled? Uh, yeah- he just saved John Q. Taxpayer $25 billion. I do not believe that for one second that's a coincidence.

PS: Yes, Mexico will pay for the wall. It's called the new trade agreement.

Funny going thru customs they insisted on knowing the address of the hotel I am staying at, like I am not leaving as soon as I possibly can. Was tempted to tell them to watch their own bobber.

Yes the new trade agreement.. So I am a wheat farmer in Oklahoma, please tell me how this new agreement is going to benefit me. I say this bc Mexico is the largest purchaser of Oklahoma wheat and has decided to no longer purchase from us. Instead, they are going to spend their money helping Argentina with ag technology so they can purchase from them. Woohoo, I can look forward to $2.15/bushel..

No matter what side of the aisle they stand on.. If a politicians mouth is moving they are lying.

I predict they'll come back to the US market. I have little faith in Mexico's ability to provide infrastructure to Argentina so they can become major players in the wheat industry. It sounds fanciful and doesn't solve their immediate needs at all, does it? Keep the faith, OkieBob.

yeah, "ag technology from Mexico" sounds great until Mexicans are starving while waiting for Argentina to catch up. Although with that new socialist president Mexico just elected; planned mass starvation would be par for the course.

Your prediction does nothing for the farmers now, they have bills to pay, mouths to feed, etc....

It appears Trump has this handled, I hope for a quick resolution so Farmers can get back to selling their crops and we can stop bailing them out with tax dollars.

You should consider donating those shoes, clothes, etc to a charity or somewhere who helps people who actually need them.
