The other morning, around 5:30am, the fire dept was paged to look for a red/orange glow on the east side of highway. After a but of a search the firemen determined that the caller must've been looking at the beginning of the sunrise. It would be totally hilarious if dispatch didn't screw up and set off our ambulance pagers too. St Paul mayor Melvin Carter who refused to put $ in the budget to hire more police officers to combat the increasing crime issues in St Paul has set aside $100,000 of taxpayer $ to fund legal fees for immigrants legal or not. Wonder why cities have issues? You don't want to protect tax paying citizens but protect those that are not paying taxes, brilliant.
It's about to get worse, flights from Mexico to Toronto are about 300 bucks. So since Trump has done a great job of enforcing immigration laws on the southern boarder. The folks are now flying to Canada and coming through the Northern Boarder. Being Canada does not require a VISA. First time ever I have seen this in Michigan. Thank you Canada!!!
Cops think a series of armed robberies in the community I work are all related. Two of them resulted in murder; a father and son during home invasion, and a guy outside the store being robbed, simply waiting for his wife to come out after her shift ended. A buddy of mine knew the father and son murdered in their home.

This isn't a new trick and one of the biggest reasons that a southern border wall is obsolete. We could put a fraction of that wall money into technology and manpower to have more secure borders.
