My god I tried I really tried on this one. Ok I'll break it down. The signature on the back of the card is a security measure that was invented and imposed ages ago. Now a company chooses to enforce said rule, measure or law and left leaners start their regular protests and outrage. Its there and has been there for your protection ( no matter its effectiveness) . How about if you don't like it YOU write " To each from each " on your cards. As opposed to crying about what others do. And if you can't handle showing id.... Pay cash or go to another establishment for your goods. The argument sounds familiar right? Its the same premise as ice. The laws have always been there and ppl are just getting pissy that someone is enforcing them. As for germ, I have liked things he has written and never disliked him when he was wrong needed to name call. But just like most libertarians its the peticular view that oppose. Not the man.
Did you see the concerned citizens hit the white woman. Watch fox 9's coverage they were the only Twin Cities media outlet to show the whole video, the white woman did nothing to deserve being punched in the face. Not sure what bugs me more the protesters or the media.
Strong word of advice for anyone who reads this. Go to the dentist regularly. I waited 5+ years (because I hate the dentists office). First of 4 appointments was today. Wish I didn't get so nervous and clamy when I go. Nothing hurt and they were incredibly nice... But I still hate it. 1 down 3 more to go.
MN, you and I are the same brother. But then I had to go in like 5 times in one year to fix all the problems. It wasn't fun. Now for the last two years Ive scheduled cleanings and checkups and haven't had any problems at all. I force myself to go even though the thought isnt pleasant. Had my first root canal two years ago and it kind of changed me.
I like Germ because he makes me think. He can take it as good as he dishes it out, too. He doesn't always try to one-up you in a debate or always get the last word. It's strangers on the web like him (non-trolls but blunt) who can help you figure out why you believe what you do, or if it's even worth believing.
I frequent Disqus online it is pretty much uncensored news stories etc. There are some pretty nasty people online, I really enjoy angering them.
What places do the clerks swipe the card for you anymore ? Which is when they would normally ask for id (sometimes) in the first place. I can't remember the last place I was at that didnt have a card swiper that the customer did themselves. So, that whole argument was for nothing.
Small town America where I live both the grocery store and the liquor store both take my card for payment.
Your incision split from a surgery back in March? Whoever, stitched you up did a crappy job. There's my rant. Anyway, get it cleared up and I can help you with a rehab program to make sure the mesh does not cause any future physical limitations that could end your hunting career.
Today's rant....life in general.... Really sucks a** to have to watch parents wasting away from sickness and old age. My 78 year old dad has COPD and a host of other issues and on Hospice. He had a rough attack Monday with his breathing, called an ambulence and hospice (second time in two months) they got him stabilized but the hospice nurse told us he's in stage 4 COPD and at most has a short few months. Trying to take care of "plans" for when it happens with him still here and knowing there's nothing I can really do about it but wait and watch it happen. It's like torture. Then I feel bad for complaining about a fact of life that is inevitable for everyone at some point. I've had two pets put down this year, I have two uncles with quickly failing health and a third that passed last Friday...my heart just freaking hurts.
So sorry to hear all that covey. We are always here if you need to vent. Stay strong brother! Sent from my SM-G900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
