    woefully stupid elected officials...

    1. the Legislative branch (that's you; Senator) passes bills
    2. the Executive (that would be the President, Madam Senator) signs those bills into federal law
    3. Federal law enforcement officers enforce said laws

    You stupid....ignorant...
    see you next tuesday, ya'll!

And while this all time classic is from 2010; the Honorable Mr. Johnson is -STILL- a sitting Congressman, despite not knowing how islands "work":

Happy rant. Employers who know how to treat their employees right.

Company is taking everyone to the Twins vs Indians game today with a $20 voucher for food/drinks.

Not happy rant. $20 will get me maybe a small bag of popcorn and a maybe half of a beer.

buy the beer first and glom off your buddy's popcorn. Nobody shares beer. Most share popcorn.

My son was home last night for dinner and wood splitting, he is headed to the game today as well. He was saying he had to go shopping to get a twins polo shirt to wear for the game. I asked him what he was wearing to the game, he told me navy pants gray polo shirt. He is going to the game for work so he has to wear his work attire sitting in a suite talking business.

I will not go to the ball park unless the Twins are 500 or better.

If public assistance is being used an id should be required.

Telemarketers! They now have it so they will call my number and it shows up on my caller ID as a call from my city. So I figure it is a legit call (maybe doctor office etc.) It’s not! I’ll then google the number and it’s usually been reported as a telemarketer scam call already. Doesn’t matter how many #’s I block I still receive those type of calls in batches!

My son likes to mess with them and string along the caller. Recently a guy with a thick middle eastern accent didn’t like to be messed with and threatened my son that he would do unthinkable things to his mother (my wife)

Germ how often does your id get checked? I do not sign my cards used to be that if the card was not signed you had to present a photo id. I find it ludicrous that people are offended at the suggestion that a photo id should be required to vote. I am not sure what your point is but I stated mine.

That's not what he said, lol

Is it stupid to say you need and ID to buy groceries?

Yes i use my ID all the time, no issues at all on when I use it, in Michigan it's required and should be to vote.

It was one of his typical half articulated statements, but he actually got it from a Drudge Report story two or three days prior. I saw the story there that day but I can't find the link right now. Basically the story was one of the larger grocery chains now ask you for ID anytime somebody presents other than cash.

Insurance companies. Family member has a serious medical issue that looked to be resolved by a two day medical procedure starting tomorrow morning. All looked good .....then 16 hrs before the treatment the insurance company denied the claim even though they had been presented all the facts and paperwork....leaving a kid to suffer even longer. F them.
