I am Uncle Bob to a lot of kids that are not my nieces or nephews. I have friends and when they have a problem with a kid and need a break/intervention i am the guy with a lot leased of hay fields, fence projects, huge garden and if you are really a turd needing a workout i have plenty of shingle bundles that need humped up to a ridge. I am well known for working the sass right out of them. Got a letter from my best friends kid a couple of summers ago thanking me for trying to break his back hauling hay throughout his high school years, he went on to say that boot camp at Pendelton was a breeze..
I think many of the counties that have a "deer population problem" are in the northern part of the state where for many years you could shoot as many doe as you wanted. Not to mention the ever increasing wolf and black bear population contributed to fawn mortality in the northern part of the state. But, where I live ( Sauk County) has probably one of the highest deer populations in the state.
People who make appointments and don't keep them. In this case, local HVAC companies. Out of 4 companies contacted, 2 were no shows and didn't even bother to call to say they couldn't make it. A third has not sent me a quote and it has been 11 days. This one was a name dropper-he kept talking about the work he does for my neighbor who is a builder. Said neighbor stopped by last night and I told him to tell his "buddy" that he screwed himself out of a job. Guess that guys company has all the money they will ever need. Guess I was spoiled by the first company that came out. I had the formal quote in less than 3 hours. The other 3 are going to get a "don't bother" recommendation when someone asks me who I contacted.
Fastenall in Elk River MN. I went in a few weeks ago to order solid rivets for my boat I checked online before I went in to see if they carried them. I go into the store with one of the rivets to use for a size reference. The individual tried to sell me pop rivets and then said it was impossible to figure out the size from the rivet I brought with me, I took my rivet sample back and left the store. Yesterday I was looking for 10/24 x 2.5 aluminum machine screws for the transom. I handed the guy the screw I was replacing and told him what I wanted. The guy flat out told me that I was wrong that the screws were stainless steel. I explained that the screws were for a 1957 Alumacraft boat and that factory specs called out all aluminum hardware, he replied that the hardware was not original. I once agin took my sample back and left.

People who completely disregard police lights and fire apparatuses during flash floods. Drive right past the lights, officers, and fire fighters and proceeded to drive right into 3 feet of water where their cars stall out....blocking major roadways during rush hour traffic.
