The wife and I went out to eat at a high end steak house last night to celebrate my bday. In the midst of enjoying our expensive wine and meals some broad two tables over decides it's a perfect time to FaceTime with her kids in California who are getting out of school. It's bad enough that people will take or have phone conversations in a nice restaurant, most will excuse themselves and go outside. Not this Narcissist, we all had to hear how little timmys day went, like we care. I just love how manners and consideration for others has just vanished. I blame stupid facebook.

My snot-nosed brat of a nephew telling both his parents to shut up at the family bbq on Memorial Day. He started to say it once with me. I interupted him and told him if he finished saying it, the only thing “up” would be his view from the ground at me. I wish his parents had the courage to teach him some manners and respect. I said something ugly to my step-dad when I was a 10 year old brat. Before I could even snicker I caught his back hand across the mouth. I loved the original Rosanne maybe more than anyone. And for some reason know more about the show than anyone else I know. But, the reboot was a poor attempt at a comeback and after only a few shows was running out of ideas. And if you've ever spent even one minute on Barr's twitter you will know she is a legit nutcase that needs serious help.

I hope you are right about him being closer in the future. He is 12, going into 8th grade. I haven't seen him in about six months as he is a nephew on my wife's side of the family. He has turned into an arrogant little snot since the last time I saw him. At that age, boys need a firm hand from a male role model to teach respect and where the line is. His mom and stepdad are trying, but his sperm donor is turning him into an arrogant jerk that disrespects women. I have zero tolerance for that crap. He may not learn it applies all the time but he will figure out it applies when is around me if nothing else.
I remember at about age 9 or 10 disrespecting my Dad in public. I whined about something about the food he had bought us at a restaurant. He took the food and threw it in the trash and then proceeded to pick me up off the ground in front of everyone and walk me to the bathroom. The sounds of horror from that bathroom left many guest uncomfortable and me crying and unable to sit down for the rest of the meal.
