So I am in Melbourne Fl I had to run to Walmart so I asked my phone closest Walmart, it popped up and had a 59% rating. Oh I had to go there to see what a crap show it was. Nope it was like pretty much all Walmarts, disappointed I wanted to see Florida man stuff.

Your post did remind me to log in to delta and select my dinner on the flight home. I can't stand Orlando, the airport the traffic, just the vibe don't like it.
When my mom passed We moved to Orlando with my father's new woman and her two stolen kids. I spent a lot of time at the Orlando airport for she waitressed there. Dang Orlando was wildly different way back then. Disney was just beginning back then. My uncle and brother helped build Disney world.
Update on SIL's attacked dog, Texas law is protecting the two that attacked her. Though they strongly suggested the owner remove them from city limits. This while telling SIL their only recourse is a law suit. In the mean time infection set in and test revealed horrific bacterial strains attacking her. Nearly all the skin around her neck has now been removed and they are trying to save an ear. The skin removal revealed several undetected punctures to the chest area. She is on the most potent antibiotics available. Seeing the pics I can not believe she is still alive from behind ears to shoulders there is no longer any fur or skin. Just open chewed up muscle in wrap. Dog bites are a nasty biological waste zone.

In 2026 why do we still have carts driving amongst herds of people in airport concourses? It does not happen in Minneapolis but in other airports the cart drivers are constantly honking their horns, I want to throat punch them and they are not honking at me.
Sota, liability issues. If they didn't honk and hit someone, lawyers would descend like buzzards on road kill. I would venture that would depend on a huge airport like Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, etc. Atlanta could have an arrival at one gate and a connecting flight across the airport. AMHIK Carts are for people who have mobility issues like me.
No they don't honk like they are in a NY traffic jam at the Minneapolis airport. There has to be a better way for all involved.
Lived in Queens, NY and never experienced honking. Spent three weeks in NYC in 1998. People realized that honking didn't solve the traffic problem. Now if you honk, you might get shot.
So we have had the grand dog for the past week. My son neglected to send the charger cord for the dogs collar. My wife ordered a charger cord on Amazon and had it shipped to my work because we would get it 3 days earlier than if it was delivered to my house. Well it went thru a 3rd party and it never showed up, my wife ordered a complete collar and remote and it arrived at my house the next day.
I have the delight of heading to the airport this morning flying into Detroit, remote car rental facility will take over an hour to get to my rental car from when I deplane. Then I have the drive to East Lansing 4 lanes of cars 80 mph feels like driving 4 wide on a nascar track. Conference opens at 7:30 eastern time I will be walking the 1/2 mile from my hotel to the conference center instead of waiting and paying for a valet at the hotel. 1 day conference and so far I don't have to do the dreaded business dinner after. I scheduled an early flight Wednesday am so I land back at MSP before rush hour.
