    OK update
Hubby was the one that called and told me. Used our nieces nick name, not her full name.
My stomach has been in knots and I now have a blistering headache. I call another family member to see if they had gotten any details.
Well un known to me the family had gotten a new dog. Mind you hubby has not gotten over our dogs AT ALL They named their new dog Bella, which is what we have always called our niece. He told me this happened to Bella with such panic and heart break in his voice, I not knowing they had this dog thought it was our niece.
So , unfortunately their beloved pet is in bad shape and THANK GOD OUR NIECE IS SAFE. Thank you for the prayers for our pets are family and this is still horrific but not devistatingly so.

    Oh been a day...
Last night I hit bathroom at 10: 45 I glance out the windows to see highbeams shooting up the road. The vehical is down near our lower drive on wrong side of road. I watch for a half hour and it never moves. This road is pretty busy. I'm wondering if they are moving another downed tree or shoveling a drive. Then go back to bed. Tell hubby about it and suggested he look around as he goes to work. He calls and says should have called cops...looks like a possible drunk driver for the car is on the wrong side of road completely buried in the ditch. That explains the high beams that never moved...At least an ambulance wasn't needed, or we slept through it....HhhmmmFriday the 13th, I'm staying in the house

    OMG!
    They sent me pics.
They completely, down to the jaw bone, ripped the lower part of her face off. It's a horror show and I can't believe she survived that attack
I don't know how to get pics outc of text, though I'm pretty sure no one would want to stomach them.
I thank God it was their dog and not their daughter.

It was the best job ever while it was going but they lied about long term cost. Sad things is I would do it again, the places I got paid to experience, but the loss of cartilage is what it is. I am just pissed they lied to us about the nomex and the steroids in the MREs

Son of a blow torch, fell on the ice last night when we were ice fishing. I thought I broke my arm sucks to get old you fall down and it draws blood. I dinged up my arm and leg wife yelled at me this morning because blood stains on the sheets. Wife suggested that I get my arm looked at, if there is not a bone sticking thru the skin I am not going to have it looked at.

Could be a fracture. My mother slipoped while playing whiffle ball with the grandkids. Years later it started to hurt. X-ray showed an old fracture but doctor couldn't do anything for it.

OK this is to all us old folks and or those with weight issues. Local store manager mid 50's tripped and fell at work. Life long weight issue though they'd been loosing well over the last year. It was a bad fall calling for an ambulance. They waved off a hospital run and went home. They were found dead the next day from a bleed.
Tile floors are as hard as ice and frozen ground. I think of them often considering I've brushed off a few falls this winter, one that bounced my head off the frozen ground twice. This where my eye balls felt like they bounced off the inside of my skull.

Time to stop being....overly non couscous at my age. Food for thought

Reminds me of the Jeff Foxworthy redneck joke: Redneck's last words, "Y'all watch this!" Never got that brave, though.

Truck stalled out on the side of the interstate this morning while taking my son to school, CEL comes on. After getting it going again, take him to school and then O'Reilly's down the street. Code is for the Cam Shaft position sensor. Watch a quick Youtube video, straight forward other than being on the backside of the engine against the firewall. Simple bolt to take out, swap the sensor and bolt it back in.

My truck is 2012 Nissan Titan, for the 04 -11, this is correct. Starting in 2012 -2015 before the major engine overhaul in 2016, the sensor was moved to the front of the engine block. I spent 90 minutes climbing on top of the engine, under the engine, and surfing the internet to find the location of the sensor because several Youtube videos and Google AI didn't catch this despite including the year and submodel of my truck in the search. Finally found a Titan Facebook group where someone pointed this out after running into the same issue on their 2012. Once I looked at the front of the engine block, it was obvious and I swapped it out in 5 minutes.

Just goes to show, never trust anything on the internet, even well-intended car repair advice. AI is not as sharp as people make it seem and my wife got tired of listening to me spend 90 minutes complaining about the stupidity of the sensor being on the back of the engine in the first place. 2.5 hours late to work for something I could have fixed in the O'Reilly's parking lot and been to work on time if the correct information was readily available.

Good god what a day. Ever meet a person that makes you feel dumber after listening to them like they drag you down to their level. I tried to explain that a submersible motor has to have a certain velocity of liquid flowing over the outer skin to cool the motor, if you don't have the velocity the motor cooks till it seizes. The guy did not believe me, he has worked at 1 landfill for 1 year I have been to hundreds of landfills all over the country.

cantexian, glad you got the problem fixed. Same scenario- have a Husky lawn tractor that needs a steering gear replaced. Many tractors look the same but have minor differences. Found a video that explained two bolts are removed to allow the steering rod to "float" so you can get the steering gear assembly off. FWIW, I got a headache for watching some cameras floating around like they were using the camera to swat flies. Deleted them from YouTube history.
