Bill blame the NHL, they are having the outdoor game in Tampa tomorrow. Glad we are supposed to miss this one, still dealing with over 8" snow with 1"+ of ICE on top, animals having a hard time finding food after a week of this.

Here is a rant that was called to my attention: Why don't customers get a discount by using self checkout? You are saving the business a lot of money with no employee's pay. Know whut I mean, Vern?
And no meeting needs to last more than an hour. Beyond that and you've lost peoples attention and / or just going over the same B.S. again. No long winded emails either. If an email turns into a couple paragraphs or more, pick up the phone or go see the person and talk.
You know it's going to be a long meeting when they tell you to bring your pajamas and toothbrush. FWIW, my father worked at a place that was overrun with meetings. The clincher was a meeting to determine why nothing was getting done!

Anybody try to watch nascar clash last night? Good god that was unwatchable, there was I don't know how many times after a restart that they could not even get 1 lap complete and another yellow flag. Running out of gas rain delays and rain tires, all without tradition pits. The regular nascar pit crews were not there could only change a tire if it was flat. All on a 1/4 mile track. Didn't have a single beer watching it either, probably why I stayed awake.

Why have Olympic opening ceremonies become a contest to seemingly ‘out-weird’ the prior events ceremonies? If you watch the ceremony later tonight, my coined phrase, ‘Crayola people’.
Sort of like the Grammy and Oscar awards. Seems like the women are having a contest to see how much skin they can show. Doesn't impress me as I was raised on a dairy farm.
