So there is an empty ground blind at the farm because of my job. This morning I was at a landfill in Dekalb county GA. Watched a big buck chasing a doe in the wooded area outside the landfill cells. Evidently that was not the big buck that they see.

So how is it flying during the government shutdown? As bad as it says on the news channels?

    Obtaining medical records

End of October I started thinking and realized I have some Aflac claims I need to submit. 2 were work related and the third was July 1st of this year so dates were easy enough to obtain. Was able to submit the requests online which I found convenient. Submitted all 3 within 10 minutes of each other. Received an email today stating my requests have been completed. Took a week so no big deal. Log in and only one is there, nothing stating anything about pending requests. So now I have no clue how long the others may take or if I need to submit them again one at a time waiting for each to complete before submitting the next one. Noticed one thing, it said payment due upon receipt. Nothing stating how to view charges or how to pay for the records search. Last time I did something similar it was only a few dollars, but don't want to submit duplicate requests and be billed multiple times for the same thing.

4 days after submitting I fracture my wrist and ruin my deer season. Now I have a 4th one to submit after all of my follow ups :bigcry::rant:

Flight was on time. I was sitting in my hotel room when I remembered the hour time change from Alabama to Atlanta. I got really lucky traffic was manageable I got to the gate just as boarding was starting.

I was going to fly to Columbus this week and then attend a funeral in Wisconsin on the way home, I don't trust the airlines at this point there is no way I would miss that funeral.

Snowbird. Any reason you could run the business remote for a few months each year?

Perhaps in a couple years, I need to be 65 to get into the snowbird accommodations.

What is with the trend with the youth wearing hats with upside down text on it? I guess I am getting old, but that just looks stupid.

That and people with their hood up on the hoodie, are you cold or stupid? Would I hire a person with a flat brim hat with an upside down image wearing a hoodie with the hood up? Not a chance. Then I am old school my Mother forbid hats inside the building, I enforce that and added hoods down. Was funny in the meeting working on the employee handbook, I insisted it is in the book people thought I was being Tim but it is respect to my elders.

Is there anything more annoying than getting your oil changed? Truck has 12,000 miles got it in August, no I do not need a new air filter or cab filter. No need to check air pressure and I know my battery is good. Change the damn oil and shut up.
